• Previous proposals from clubs have not progressed
• Severely run down after 50 years of use
• Unsafe and generally does not meet the standards expected of a modern community facility

The Current Building
• The McKenzie Pavilion was built in 1969
• Situated at Cresswell Park on land vested in the Town of Claremont
• Building was named the ‘McKenzie Pavilion’ in 1971
• Comprises a pavilion, amenities (including change rooms, showers and toilets) and small kitchen and bar
• Minor work conducted - some refurbishment in 1997 and 2014
• Disabled toilet in 2017

Current Use
• Shared use facility and home clubrooms for both CNCC and Westside Wolves
• Large and successful clubs with strong membership base
• Over 1800 registered juniors and 110 teams
• Six (6) month leases with the Town of Claremont
• Adjacent grounds maintained and curated by CNCC

• Served the clubs well over the years
• Reserve and facilities used regularly:
o up to 250 visitors for organised sport each weekend
o functions, meetings, training, presentations etc
• Used from time to time by other community groups
