Installing the Mobile App & Setting Up Your User Account

Go to the MCW Libraries website:

mcw.edu/mcwlibraries.htm

Select All E-Resources

Then tap the “Red Book Online” link on the alphabetical list.

If you are working from off-campus, you will be prompted to log on to the proxy server, using your MCW username and

password. (If you are on campus, you will skip this step.)

You have entered the AAP Red Book Online website. Tap the “Sign In” link at the top of the page.

If you already have an AAP account you can skip the next few slides. If you do not have an AAP account, tap “Create account.”

Fill in all of the required information and use your MCW email address. You will need to click “Continue” a few times before the

form is complete.

When the registration form is complete, you should see this page.

Go back to the AAP Red Book Online page. Do this by closing the Create account tab or by pressing the back arrow.

Sign into the AAP Red Book Online website using the login information you just created.

When properly signed in, you should see your name instead of “Sign In”

Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Download Our Mobile App” from the App Store.

Be sure to be stay logged into the AAP website.

You should be taken directly to the AAP Red Book app. Tap the “Get” option next to AAP Red

Book, and then tap the green “Install” button.

If prompted, enter your Apple ID password.

Open the AAP Red Book app by tapping “Open.” Be sure to be stay logged into the AAP website in

your web browser.

The Red Book Online app will open. Log In to the AAP Red Book app using the login information

you just created.

Red Book will now begin loading the content into the app. Once it is finished downloading the

content, you will be taken into the app.

AAP Red Book requires that you re-verify your access every 120 days which you do by logging into Red Book Online while on the

MCW campus or via the proxy server.

You have completed the installation for this app!
