Aluminum, tin or steel cans: Should be rinsed.

Pie Tins and Aluminum Foil: Should be free from food particles.

Newspapers: Keep papers clean and dry. Do not place in bags.

Brown paper bags: Put in bins.

Shredded paper: Place in clear plastic bags.

Plastic Bottles and Milk Jugs: Bottles should be completely emptied, rinsed out, with lids on. Peanut butter jars should be scrubbed.

No garden hoses, PVC pipe, Christmas lights, plastic bags, clothes hangers, liquid bottle pumps, pizza boxes, empty containers that contained motor oil or hazardous waste, light bulbs, ceramic glass etc.

Now open M-F 7am—3pm Oil, used cooking oil, anti-freeze, transmission fluid, all batteries, paint/solvents/thinner, all aerosol cans (including empty cans), pesticides, household cleaning prod-ucts, herbicides, CFL’s, large mercury neon bulbs, and outdated medications. Recycled paint available $5 per bucket. Pick up a container for sharps, (needles, syringes, lancets, etc.) free of charge while supplies last. Once the container is full of sharps, return those back to the HHW Fa-cility for proper disposal. Sharps can also be brought in any hard plastic or metal con-tainer.
