programs on energy and the environment.

BE HEALTHY AND WELL Try Meatless Mondays and check out the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health's Healthy Eating Plate and Harvard's Farmers' Markets. Learn about meditation and stress reduction, and practice at the Harvard Wellness Center. Bike, walk, or opt for public transit. Use safer green cleaning supplies in your home, lab, or office.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE Use a reusable water bottle, tote, or coffee mug. Donate and swap unwanted office supplies, clothes, and other items. Recycle and compost where possible.Bring batteries, cell phones, chargers, and CFLs to the blue e-waste tubes.

SAVE ENERGYTurn off electronics, shut off lights, and unplug devices when not in

use and during vacation.Enable power management settings on your computer.

CONSERVE WATERReduce shower time. Every 5 minutes in the shower uses 8 gallons

of water.Run only full loads of laundry and wash in cold to save energy, it uses

1/10th of the energy.
