Business Recycling Guidelines
YES NOOffice Paper & MailNewspapersMagazines
Include office paper of all colors (tape, staples, glue, paper clips okay), envelopes (windows and labels okay), spiral-bound notebooks, file folders, and phone books.
No coffee cups.No label-backing sheets.No frozen food boxes No bath tissue, paper towels, or napkins.No shredded paper.
Cardboard Flatten cardboard boxes. No wax-coated cardboard. No pizza boxes.
Plastic Tubs & Bottles
Rinse containers. Include yogurt–type containers (6 ounces or larger), rigid plant pots (4 inches or larger) and buckets (5 gallons or smaller).
No plastic bags.
Metal Cans Include rinsed aluminum, tin and steel food cans.
Do not flatten. Do not include metal that has plastic, food, or other non-metal materials attached. No paint cans.
Foil Remove food from foil. Crumple foil into loosely-packed balls.
No food-soild foil.
Scrap Metal Include scrap metal that is smaller than 30 inches in any direction.
NO GLASS No glass of any kind.No lightbulbs.No drinking glasses or dishware.
