Then you should apply for NHHS Energi!

The goal of NHHS Energi is to increase the interest among students for questions related to energy- and resource economics, as well as building a closer relationship to the energy sector. NHHS Energi organizes events such as the fall conference and the Energy Day. On these events we go in-depth on a specific topic within the energy sector. Previous topics have been ”The Future of Energy”, ”Where will the wind take us?” and ”The European electricity Grid”.

Since several of our members either just graduated or are going on exchange this semester, there are a lot of interesting positions to be filled. You can even apply for being a board member if more responsibility appeals to you.

Description of vacant positions:

Information Director (1 position):

The Information Director will be responsible for managing and updating the websites, managing the member e-mail and board e-mail, creating registration forms etc. Knowledge of or interest for IT would be an advantage, though it is not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are motivated for the position! Together with the PR Director, you will be responsible for communicating a uniform profile for NHHS Energi.

PR Director (1 board position):

The PR Director will be head of the PR team who works with the promotion of NHHS Energi. If you are creative and responsible this is the perfect position for you. You will also contact local- and student newspapers to cover events and conferences.

PR member (1 position):

As a part of the PR-team your responsibility includes promoting NHHS Energi and our events through nhhs.no, posters and flyers, stands and by informing during classes.

External affairs member (1 position):

The external affairs member will be part of the PR team and be responsible for information and promotion in other arenas than NHHS. This includes building mutually beneficial relationships with other energy interest groups, such as Energirike, Energiseminaret and Greenstat. Furthermore, the external affairs member will be responsible for managing the contact with NHHS Energi Alumni.

Description of vacant positions:Social member (1 position):

If you like to organize and spread joy then this is the position for you. You will be responsible for planning the social events for the group, which can be anything from a cake day at the office to a Christmas party.

Content team member (3 positions):

As part of the Content team you will be responsible for the program on our events. As part of the Content team you will be in an excellent position to influence the topics of our events and conferences, but also headhunt the speakers you find most interesting. You will address questions like which topic will attract a big audience, who can be the best speaker to address this question, and how can we present both sides of the story?

Event team member (2 positions):

The Event team is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and all other practical issues related to our events. This includes room booking, ordering food, table and chair setup, and managing tasks on the day of the event. You will also be in first hand contact with the speakers and companies on stand. As such, you will be on the frontline with many opportunities to expand your network and get to know companies and experts.

Sponsor team member (2 positions):

As a member of the sponsor team, it will be your responsibility to secure the income of the group. NHHS Energi has both main sponsors and event sponsors, and the sponsor team will be in direct contact with relevant companies. As a member of the sponsor team you will approach potential sponsors and write applications for funds.

This semester will be filled with social events for the group. In addition, NHHS Energi shares an office with STG, GEP and the finance group, where our members can hang out, eat lunch and leave their stuff. We hope you will apply!
