AppliquéFollow assembly instructions on panel fabric to prepare each safari animal, but do not add PolyFil, and do not leave an opening for turning. Sew all the way around the animal shape. Gently cut a slit in the fabric on the back side, just large enough for turning animal shape right side out. NOTE: Animal shape will be reversed when inside out.
Clip corners and curves. Turn each animal right side out, and press.Refer to image below to place one safari animal in each gray square. When you are pleased with the placement, pin in place.Zebra: Appliqué in place by stitching around zebra body, leaving mane, ear, and tail to be free-flowing.Giraffe: Appliqué in place by stitching around giraffe body, leaving mane, ear, and tail to be free-flowing.Lion: Appliqué in place by stitching around lion body and head, leaving mane to be free-flowing.(OPTIONAL) Elephant: You may opt to stuff the elephant to accompany the quilt as a plush toy.
