Recherché Furnishings, Inc. is a family owned business in North Texas operated by Cliff and Jan Hand. The name Recherché isFrench and means elegant, extravagant, one-of-a-kind whichperfect describes our home furnishings. Started in 2010 asa custom wood furniture manufacturer specializing in thetraditional joinery and hand craftsmanship of the last century, ithas now moved into an unique line of rustic home decor.Cliff, who worked in the advertising and design industry forover 25 years, is the lead creative force and artisan, combiningboth functionality and art into each piece he designs. Jan, aformer healthcare executive, runs the day-to-day operations ofthe business.

In 2014, a friend of Cliff’s borrowed a nail gun to x his fence.Upon returning the nail gun, he gave Cliff the old fence pickets.He built a rustic picture frame out of the old wood using thesame quality craftsmanship and attention to detail as he doesfor his ne home furnishings; hence, “The Naturals ReclaimedFrames” line was born. Staying true to the reclaimed/recycling

theme, each frame backing is made from recycled cardboardand can drink tabs are used for the wall hangers. To datethousands of frames have been sold keeping thousands ofpounds of wood, cardboard, and drink tabs out of our landlls.

Throughout 2015, more and more people across the US havemailed in soda tabs, saved old cardboard, and called in whentheir fence has blown down due to a storm. Our wood collection

team is very busy retrieving old wood for new products andthere is no end in sight. By the end of 2015, Recherché hadcollected over 300,000 pounds of old wood, over 75,000 sodatabs, and 40,000 pounds of used cardboard. The collection ofold wood, soda can tabs, and old cardboard will continue aslong as Americans continue to demand Green Products andto continue to strive to make America a better and cleanerplace each and every day. For their efforts, Recherché wasawarded the 2015 Keep Texas Beautiful Business of the Yearand was a nalist for Keep America Beautiful for promoting

environmentally sound practices and their Green Products.

Most importantly, the Hand Family believes in serving othersby giving back to those in need and has done so through their“Turning Wood To Water” Campaign. Through this campaign,10% of all reclaimed wood product sales are donated to acharitable organization, Lake Pointe Church, to drill water-wells in African communities. Regardless of where in Americasomeone lives, when they purchase these products, they aredonating 10% to help needy people with clean water on the

other side of the world.

Throughout 2015, Recherché expanded the reclaimed woodproduct line to include Rustic Reclaimed Flags, Angels, andBirdhouse Key Holders with the introduction of rustic cutmetal into the home decor line. In 2016, the line of reclaimedproducts has expanded into an entirenew line of rustic home décor. Enjoy.

The Recherche Furnishings’ Natural Reclaimed Rustic

Angel is made from 100% recycled real wood from Texas.

Each Angel is unique and handmade. Expect holes, nails,

blemishes, and characteristics of old wood in each Angel.

Your Angel will not be exactly like the photo shown, but the

same high quality will be found in your piece. The wings

and halo are cut from fine metal and very sturdy. The halo

can be used as a hanger for wall décor. The Angel-9 stands

9” high from top to bottom and 13” wide from wing to wing

and the Angel-11 stands 11” high from top to bottom and

16” wide from wing to wing. Finished with a shabby chic

white paint. Jute string is used to finish off your Angels’

look. Creation Certificate for your Angel is included.
