Reception held for His Royal Highness Prince

Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz by the

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

His Excellency the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev has

received on Wednesday April, 2015 His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah Bin

Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz at the Presidential Residence in Azerbaijan.

His Excellency the President Aliyev welcomed HRH the Prince and confirmed to

HRH the support of the Government of Azerbaijan to host the 4th Islamic

Solidarity Games in 2017 at Baku city, the capital of Azerbaijan.

His Excellency, the President of Azerbaijan Mr. Aliyef emphasized that the

Games in Baku come in a crucial time requires Concerted Efforts to guide the

Muslim youth towards the straight way to enable them to confront Extremism and

represent Islam properly.

HRH Prince Abdulal Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz has expressed his appreciation

and thanks to His Excellency the President of Azerbaijan for hosting the 4th

Islamic Solidarity Games in his country and for the support rendered by the

Government of Azerbaijan to the Games.

HRH has also praised the personal attention and instructions given by His

Excellency the president to achieve success of the Games.

HRH expressed his admiration of the infrastructure and sport facilities available in

Azerbaijan that helped Azerbaijan to host the 1st European Olympic Games.

HRH confirmed that the I.S.S.F. will work together with the Organizing

Committee of Baku Games to ensure the participation of all Islamic countries in

the Games.

HRH has praised the good cooperation of His Excellency the Minister of youth and sport of

Azerbaijan Mr. Azad Rahimov and the cooperation of Dr. Chingiz Huseynzada the vice president of

NOC of Azerbaijan and Ms. Konul Nuruallayeva the representative of the organizing committee of

Baku Islamic Games at the I.S.S.F. noting that Ms. Konul Nuruallayeva is the first female member of

the Council of I..S.S.F. since its establishment.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Nassar the General secretary if I.S.S.F. and Dr.

Ibrahim Al Aqili the Adviser of HRH as well as Mr. Azad Rahimov the Minister of Youth and Sport in

Azerbaijan and Dr. Chingiz Huseynzada the Vice President of the NOC of Azerbaijan.

Signing on the contract of hosting and organizing the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Azerbaijan 2017 and the site - seeing visit performed by HRH the president of ISSF to the Games Venues

On Tuesday 7April, 2015 the ceremony of signing on the agreement of hosting and organizing the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, was held in Baku,

Azerbaijan. The agreement was signed by:

- For and on behalf of the ISSF, HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz, the president of ISSF. &

- For and on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Mr. Azad Rahimov, the Minister of Youth and Sport in Azerbaijan & - For and on behalf of the NOC of Azerbaijan Dr. Chingiz Huseynzada, the Vice President of the Olympic Committee in Azerbaijan.

HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Adbulaziz delivered a speech and praised the great efforts rendered by the Government of Azerbaijan to host

the Games, and pointed out that the I.S.S.F. will spare no efforts to avail all support possible to the Organizing Committee to make this event a successful one and to accomplish the ISSF goals targeted from holding these Games (i.e. to achieve solidarity and fraternity between the Muslim

youth) on the soil of Azerbaijan.

Mr. Azad Rahimov, the Minister of youth and sport welcomed HRH and confirmed that the Government of Azerbaijan presided by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will give all support to organize this major sport event successfully, and will exert all efforts to bring

together, in Azerbaijan the Muslim youth from the 57 countries.

Dr. Chingiz Huseynzadam, the Vice President of the NOC of Azerbaigan, has also welcomed HRH, the president of ISSF and emphasized that the Organizing Committee will do its best to use this event as a message to the world to show that the Muslim youth can introduce the correct picture of

True Islam to the world.

The ceremony of signing on the agreement was attended by: - General Mr. Ahmed M. Fouly, the president of federation,

- Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, the General Secretary of I.S.S.F.,

- Mr. Nihat Usta, ISSF Council member and chairman of the Supervision Committee of the Games. - Mr. Saeed Abdulghaffar Hussain, Deputy Secretary General and chairman of the marketing committee at the I.S.S.F.,

- Mr. Fahd Bin Saad Al Humaidi, General Director of I.S.S.F &

- All members of the Council of the NOC of Azerbaijan and officials in charge of youth and sport in Azerbaijan.

HRH Prince Abdullah Bi Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz, the president of I.S.S.F. performed a site visit to the sport facilities

hosting the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, 2017 starting from the Olympic Complex of aqua sports, the main

gym, the main football stadium where the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1st European Olympic Games in June

2015.

HRH visited also the Olympic Village where athletes and media personnel will be accommodated.

HRH expressed his admiration of the excellent standard of the sport facilities that are very comparable to the world high

class facilities which would help to achieve booming in sport through the Islamic Solidarity Games and will enable

bidding for holding International competitions.

During the site visit, HRH, was accompanied with General Ahmed M. Fouly the Vice President of I.S.S.F., Mr. faisal

Abdulaziz Al-Nassar the General Secretary of I.S.S.F. and other delegation members of the I.S.S.F.

Together, with HRH, was Dr.Chingiz Huseynzada the Vice President of the NOC of Azerbaijan, Ms. Konul

Nurullayeva, the representative of the Organizing Committee of the Games as well as officials of the Ministry of Youth

and Sport of Azerbaijan and the Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan.

Al-Hilal Rugby Championships, and the ceremony of signing the partnership agreement with “Just on Sport” Company

A lunch party was held on Thursday 9 April, 2015 on the occasion of holding Al-Hilal Rugby Championships hosted by Malaysia during 1-14

June 2015 in Melaka city.

The lunch party was attended by His Excellency Mr. Khairi Jamaluddin, the Minister of Youth and Sport in Malaysia, His Excellency Mr. Idris

Haroun the prime Minister of Melaka city, Mr. Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Nassar the General Secretary of I.S.S.F., Mr. Saeed Abdulghaffar Hussain

the deputy Secretary General of I.S.S.F., Mr, Hisham Abdulrahman Head of Organing Committee of the Championahips and Mr. Asharf

Dahroug the official in charge of the technical affairs at the I.S.S.F.

Mr. Faisal Abdulaziz Al_Nassar the General Secretary of I.S.S.F. delivered a speech through which he conveyed the greetings of HRH Prince

Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz the president of I.S.S.F., and thanked the Government of Malaysia represented by the Ministry of Youth

and Sport.

Mr. Al-Nassar thanked also the Officials of Melaka city for their support and for holding the Championships.

Mr. Al-Nassar hoped that the championships, patronized by the I.S.S.F., will lead to new horizons of cooperation in the future so that to

accomplish the goals of ISSF of solidarity and fraternity between Muslim youth.

Afterwards, the ceremonies of signing on the agreement of partnership between I.S.S.F. (represented by Mr. Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Nassar, the

General Secretary of I.S.S.F.) and “just on Sport” Company ( represented by Mr. Hisham Abdulrahman) the Chairman of the company).

The agreement aims at establishing cooperation to organize sport activities and championships in the East Asia.

Later on, the delegation of I.S.S.F. performed a visit to Melaka city to review the latest preparations made by the Organizing Committee to hold

the championships.

Mr. Al-Nassar, then visited the Malaysian Olympic Council and held a meeting with its General secretary Mr. Kok Chi to discuss with him the

cooperation between the I.S.S.F. & the Malaysian Olympic Council.

Mr. Al-Nassar expressed his happiness about the Rugby Championships hosted by Malaysia and noted that it is the first of its kind of events

organized under the umbrella of I.S.S.F.

He hoped that the championships will be the first step to the many activities to be hosted in future by Malaysia relying on the numerous

expertise and resources available in Malaysia.

The meeting held in Palembang city in Indonesia between the Secretariat General

of ISSF and the Organizing Committee of the Tennis Championships

The coordination meeting was held on 15-16 April 2015 between

Secretariat General of ISSF and the Organizing Committee of the Tennis Championships in Palembang city in Indonesia.

The meeting was held at the NOC of Palembang as the

championships thereof is scheduled to be held during the period 10-18 May,2015 in Palembang city in Indonesia.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ashraf Dahroug, the official in

charge of the technical affairs at the I.S.S.F. and both Mr. Ade Karyana, the Gen. Secretary of the NOC in southern Sumatra and

Mr. Geonawan Tedjo Sutikno, the Assistant Gen. Secretary of the Tennis National Federation and the Chairmen of Operational

Committees of the Championships.

Various organizational topics, related to the championships, were discussed such as the number of participating countries and the

importance of contacting the Participating Countries directly, by

the National Tennis Federation of Indonesia. During the meeting, the possibility of inviting one country from

outside the I.S.S.F. was emphasized and the necessity of

coordinating with the related countries in regard to the arrival particulars of their delegations to Indonesia and the visa issuance

by through the embassies of Indonesia or upon the arrival of the

delegations to Indonesia. The matter of providing air tickets to some countries was also

discussed during the meeting.

Formation of the working/operational committees of the championships was reviewed as well as matters related to the

prize money assigned for the winners, the accommodation of

athletes and coaches in the Olympic Village nearby the stadiums and playing grounds of the championships, the accommodation of

the Gusts of championships in hotels, the security and safety plan

of the accommodation areas since the arrival and up to the departure of delegations, arranging cars for the guests of the

championships, arranging daily transportation for the teams to and

from the completions area and to visit some interesting locations in Palembang were also discussed during the meeting.

Necessary coordination was made to put posters and

advertisements of the championships in public areas and in the accommodation and venues of the championships and to fix flags

of the participating countries.

The championships will be authenticated by video recording and logos of (I.S.S.F., Sumatra, the championships, and of the NOC

will be authenticated photographically as well).

The medals design was also discussed, as the front side will show the logo of I.S.S.F. while the logo of the championships, its date

and the name of the city will appear on the other side of the

medals. Proposing the Mascot was also requested during the meeting with

the hope that it can be accomplished as soon as applicable and to

present small cups to the winners of each category. The official party of the championships will be held on May 18,

2015 as the Governor of Sumatra will honor the party and the

Secretary General of the NOC. Official invitation will be extended to the NOC of Indonesia as well as to the Minister of

Youth and Sport of Indonesia.

It was urged also that agreements shall be made with some companies or banks to support the championships as the

companies already coordinated with, will provide tennis balls or

water. The possibility of granting competitors some gifts, and the

possibility to review the Prize Money system according to the number of female and male participants from each country were

recommended.

The 38th session of Islamic Commission for Economic, Cultural and social Affairs

The representative of the Secretariat General of the Islamic Commission for Economic, Cultural & Social

Affairs Mr. Mohammed Baba Weld has attended the 38th Session of Islamic Commission for Economic,

Cultural and Social Affairs held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia during the period 31 March-2 April, 2015.

The Session has approved decisions taken by the I.S.S.F., the most important among them are:

- To Congratulate HRH Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz on the occasion of taking over the

position of the presidency of I.S.S.F. wishing HRH all the good luck and success to accomplish the

objectives of I.S.S.F that will help the Youth throughout the Muslim Nation.

- To bless the future programs and activities that the I.S.S.F. has scheduled for the period 2014-1016.

- To urge the Muslim Countries members of the I.S.S.F to host the I.S.S.F competitions and to actively

taking part therein to ensure their success so that to accomplish the objectives of ISSF.

- To extend thanks to the countries cooperated with the ISSF in hosting its programs during 2015

through their NOCs.

- To express appreciation of the approval of the General Assembly of I.S.S.F. on the request of the

Republic of Azerbaijan to organize and host the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in 2017, whishing all the

success to Azerbaijan in organizing this important sport event.

- To praise the decisions made by 2nd Conference for the Ministers of Youth and Sports held in Jeddah,

Saudi Arabia on 16-17 Jamada Al-Awal 1435 corresponding to 17-18March, 2014 for authorizing the

I.S.S.F. (being the Secretariat of the Conference for the Ministers of Youth and Sport as well as the

Secretariat of Islamic Youth forum for Dialogue and Cooperation) to take arrangements to ensure

good preparation and organization of the 3rd Islamic Conference for the Ministers of Youth and Sport,

in coordination with the Organizing Committee in the Republic of Turkey as well as with the

Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

To express thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, His Royal

Highness Prince Muqren Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Nayef Bin Abdul

Aziz and to the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for hosting the I.S.S.F. Headquarter and for the

material and moral support to the I.S.S.F.
