During the summer Lilah Senibaldi had the pleasure of attending the William Bennetmasterclass at Austin Peay State University. The Master Class was taught by WilliamBennet, a master flautist from England. He has been principal flutist in the LondonSymphony Orchestra, The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, and he teaches at TheRoyal Academy of Music in London. This was her second Wibb Week and both times shehave performed for Mr. Bennet. Lilah stated that, "This year was absolutely amazing for a couple reasons. The mostimportant reason is that music is, of course, in my wheel house and the thing I care mostabout relating to my artistic life and my future work life. Learning from such anaccomplished musician who has had such an illustrious career is a powerful motivator forme. It was a great deal of learning and renewing friendships that I really enjoyed. Masterclasses are extremely important for a performer’s life, to enhance their skills, to getconstructive feedback from highly skilled musicians, to learn about career paths and tomake important contacts that will impact a person’s opportunities."

Lilac also performed with the Memphis Repertory Orchestra during their summer performance atBuckman Performing Arts Center in Memphis.
