A temporary vendor is one who offers miscellaneous goods or services to the public on private property from an outside location.Examples include, apples, birdhouses, ice cream, pumpkins, shoes, sunglasses, trees, vegetables and windshield chip repair. Pursuant to requirements of the Department of Planning & Community Development, applications for Temporary Vending must provide written, notarized, permission from the owner of the property along with an application for a county Business License and a site plan.

TEMPORARY VENDOR APPLICATION
Standards:
• No such license shall be issued for the same lot at less than four month intervals
• No customer seating on site
• Automobile sales are prohibited
• Retail activity is limited to 45 days
• No sales shall be permitted from a vehicle
• Vendors are not exempt from state regulations
• Tractor trailers related to the vendor must be removed from the site
• An undeveloped out lot requires access to parking & restroom facilities
• Temporary vendors are not permitted in the Peachtree Parkway Overlay
• There are no other temporary vendor businesses located within 330 feet
• LP Gas (propane/butane) devices require a setback of 50-feet from fuel stations; 10-feet from structures; 20-feet from tents
• Sales of fireworks are prohibited from tents; require a state license and a County Operational Permit from the Fire Marshal's Office
• No equipment, vehicle, display or sales activity will block access to a public facility; such as a mail box, fire hydrant, fire alarm box, traffic
control box, and driveway or access point
+ Weekend signs shall be allowed without the necessity of obtaining a permit, allowed only on Fridays from 12:00 pm through Sundays
until 6:00 pm; no more than one (1) weekend sign shall be allowed on any given lot; it must be on private property with the consent of the
property owner; signs shall not exceed a maximum area of six (6) square feet each
