To overcome earthquake and tsunami disaster in TOHOKU

In order to rebuild cities in the Tohoku Region, we must:

Draw up a master planDraw up a master plan that achieves recovery and a prosperous future of the local region, and leads to a prosperous future of Japan, initiated by the national and local government.initiated by the national and local government.

Our project team with 20 companies and universities started to support the rebuilding plan making and subsequent projects as pp g p g q p jThink-tank and management team.

Prosperity of Japan may depend on the success or failure of the Rebuilding projects.

Advantages of stationary storage batteries

Establishment of Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Company in Tohoku

• Lithium-ion batteries for EVs are already being mass-produced. An even larger demand is anticipated in larger-sized, stationary storage use. Applications can be made in smart cities smart communities smart buildings and moremade in smart cities, smart communities, smart buildings and more.• Japan possesses front-line technology in Lithium-ion batteries, and its developments are going further ahead. •A stationary battery mass-production plant will be constructed in the disaster-struck Tohoku region to produce 1 GWh of batteries annually (equivalent to 40,000 EVs), making 30 Billion Yen per year and creating over 500 persons employment.
