In response to your feedback, we have re-designed the way the facilitated round tables work, allowing you to join as many different discussions as possible. The first session (day one 13.45 – 15.15) will consist of seven topics (A1 – A7), each run three times. The second session (day one 15.45 – 17.15) will consist of seven different topics (A8 – A14), each run three

times. This schedule will allow you to attend six of 14 topics.

There will be three 30 minute sessions.

A1 What does the youthful lawyer want from IT? What is the contrast between their expectations and the reality of

working in a law firm? How can IT policies and devices aid recruitment and retention for the next generation of fee earners? Based on a survey of Michelmores trainees, this will be a frank discussion about the needs of lawyers from the millennial generation, looking at communication tools, social media, devices, legal software, client engagement, work life balance and their motivations and expectations of technology.
