falling prey in the hands of fraudsters who will sell them dude or non-existent property? When you are ready to secure a property; 1. Ensure to engage the services of a

genuine and trustworthy real estate agent or real estate company with a credible track record.

2. Be wary of extremely cheap property. First time home buyers want to buy as cheap as possible so they can reap a high return on their real estate investment as quickly as possible.

It's wonderful to buy a cheap property. And that's what the potential real estate investor desires whether a beginner investor or a seasoned investor. However, if the property is extremely cheap, it creates the notion that the person selling might not be the real owner. It could be a relative or friend of the owner who had access to the property documents and wants to secretly sell the property and cash out, he will put it in the market at a give-away price. So, if you're the kind of person who is passionate about buying cheap stuff in a hurry, you may fall cheaply for this sort of fraudulent scheme and lose your hard-earned money. Do not be in a hurry to buy; you must cross check fully to ascertain the genuineness of any property for sale. Once you have ascertained that the title is clean, don't delay payment unnecessarily. If you do, you could miss an opportunity to buy into a lovely real estate investment. As they say, "delay is deadly".

The two don't really compare at all. The one advantage of renting is being generally free of most maintenance responsibilities. But by renting, you lose the chance to build equity and protect yourself against rent increases.
