This interactive planning template gives you the flexibility to translate the Ready Mathematics Year-Long Pacing Guide or your own district’s pacing calendar into a format that lets you see your milestones at a glance and adjust your lesson pacing as you move through the year.
To personalize your Pacing Calendar, use Adobe® Acrobat Reader® to add color coding and text.
Color Coding1 To change the color of a calendar
day, click on the upper left corner.
Each calendar day is white by default. When you click on a day, it changes color. As you continue to click, it will change to each color shown in the key:
After you click through all the colors, it will repeat the cycle.
Adding Text2 To add text within a calendar
day, click your cursor on the lower half and then begin typing.
3 To add text within the Class field, click your cursor within the box and begin typing.
4 To add text within the Notes field, click your cursor within the box and begin typing.
Saving Changes, Printing, and Making Edits• After you have added your color
coding and text, make sure you save the PDF.
• You can print the PDF with your color coding and text.
• After you save your changes and close the PDF, you can later reopen the file to make edits. Don’t forget to save your edits before you close the file.
