High number of Looked After Children in York High number of children subject to a child protection plan. Opportunity to refocus services on targeted prevention
work. (Creation of LAC Support Team as well as Integrated Family Service)
Commitment needs to be from all services to co-ordinate responses to, and intervention with, children, families and adults.
Working together to prevent even 1 child becoming looked after out of area would save a minimum of 175k per year.

up to 12 months; Effective multi-agency relationships Integrated working: Family Assessment (CAF), Lead

some families. Robust exit plans to ensure ongoing support in place.
