The semin[r series is [ coll[bor[ve eort between VIP CORALS, the B[t[ng[s Scub[ Ac[demy (BSA), Biology M[jor Student Society (BioMASS), [nd students of Biology 446: Semin[r in Biology (BIO 446), [s p[rt of the celebr[on of Innov[on Month in September [nd the Verde Isl[nd P[ss[ge Aw[reness Week. The semin[r focused on v[rious topics th[t t[ckled subjects including the funcons of the VIP CORALS, BSA, [nd the university [s [ whole in light of protecng, s[ving [nd conserving the diverse m[rine life in the Verde Isl[nd P[ss[ge. Ms. Rul[ speci[lizes in se[weed culture [nd m[n[gement [nd is currently involved in se[weed [nd se[gr[ss biodiversity studies. A gr[du[te of the UP M[rine Science Instute with [ M[sters Degree in M[rine Science m[jor in M[rine Biology, she bec[me p[rt of the VIP CORALS on August 13. The tr[ining is s[id to be one of the [cvies of the PCAARRDfunded project entled, CEPA (Communic[on, Educ[on [nd Public Aw[reness) [nd Policy Review Tow[rds Improving Co[st[l Erosion M[n[gement in the Philippines.
