== = PURPOSE = ==

This document is a detailed analysis of a Target of Interest. It is a reference guide to the mutant creature^alien [Sherris]3 known as Raw’Pone. This Target of Interest is an individual that is considered

potentially highly dangerous to the Human race and its allies ^a potential ally or asset if understood. 2/5

^The question of Raw’Pone and other Sherris in general to be lethally capable is the important

recognized note, regardless of affiliation or potential status. 6

He is a capable assassin, warrior, spy and saboteur well-versed in the art of guerrilla warfare. The

classification of this document is to reduce unwanted rumors and sensitive facts that may cause a decline

in morale for operational service members and civilians.

Others authorized to view this document are personnel who are capable of observing and eliminating thisparticular Target of Interest (including but not limited to: bounty hunters, assassins, special agents,

ASDF, and MDF officers holding the rank to view this document, or other personnel and allies as

deemed appropriate by current acting Lieutenant Colonel of the Special Interests Division.

^General artists’ impression of Raw’Pone thoughstill resembling over-generalized stereotypical Sherris

^ Pictured at left is the most recently

accepted picture of Raw’Pone, though the

details are extremely vague. It was based onan encounter by Sergeant Dowley, Kranz of

the Reciliant System MDF (article ref: 12 ).

Date unknown. (03, 30, 57).

Notes

Counter-Surveillance Capture with more

direct depictions of Raw’Pone himself have

all been destroyed. I suggest that a higher

clearance level be required for the retainingand transportation of future depictions of any

Sherris.

Notes

5: My encounter with Raw’Pone (articleref: 22-38 ) holds that he [Raw’Pone] claimsto purposefully keep himself as close to the

semblance of average Sherris as possible.

Using his traits for adding to their already

‘mythical’ abilities as a species in order to confuse and astound their enemies. However, he does havedark black fur and dark grey complexion as this picture shows, and his face is more ‘bent’ than most

Sherris who, as a race, do not have the pronounced lengthy [muzzle] as many rodents. Having seen him

and other Sherris in action, the above suggestions made [Notes

4] I consider to be utterly futile. The

higher the restricted status of Sherris depictions are made, the fewer possible encounters that will be

documented.

= GENERAL NOTES=

Excerpt from “The Sherris Underworld”, by Special Agent Timothy Vest:

BODY

Unlike an actual rat, the Sherris’ skeletal structurecreates a more flexible back, shoulders and hips.Their vertebrae allow them to “arc” their backs insuch a manner that they can walk and standupright if not in a slight hunchback crouch forquick and easy locomotion, and to a point stoop

to remain on all fours like a rodent. This gives aSherris an incredible sense of balance, unsurpassedby even the greatest martial artists.

While their bones seem to crush moreeasily than Humans, it is folly to believe themfragile. Because their joints are fitted differently, crushing a Sherris requires a complete flatteningforce. This is because almost every major joint isdouble-jointed making their flexibilityremarkable (I will elaborate later, under physicalcapabilities). For a human, complete recovery ofhuman bones can take several months includingphysical therapy and a brace. For a Sherris, it takesonly several weeks, returning to normallocomotion with full recovery.

Page 5: Raw'Pone Profile

Sherris also obviously have fur. MostSherris have very dark furs, usually brownish, greyor black. Occasionally one can find albino Sherris.Never are they any other color. Their fur tends tobe solid, though there can be varying tints ofcolor with different patterns.

To see a Sherris from the outside andstretched out, it would appear that most areanorexic. However, the Sherris do have the sameamount of muscle in their bodies and extremitiesas we Humans, but their muscles are simplystretched over thinner, longer bones. Their clawsare much longer, thicker, and sharper thanHuman fingernails and are used as common toolsas well as personal weapons.

HE D

Sherris heads arc upward better than Humans, buthave the same neck rotation. However, because aSherris has long eyes positioned partially to theside of their heads, they have a wider peripheralvision.

Their faces are narrow, but more scrunched than a normal rat. They do have a row of good teeth, the front good for gnawing, the back andmiddle teeth are good for tearing. These are allheaded by two incisors, classifying them asrodents. Their teeth are an important part of theirsociety, used very commonly like utility knivesand scissors. Because of these qualities in their

teeth, they can eat nearly anything consumable

with ease, including bones and near-frozen meat.Ears are long and narrow, lying somewhat

flatly close to the head. They are proficient inpicking up sounds behind and beside them, butnot as well as in front of them. Still, their hearingsurpasses our own because their heads, beingslimmer, have a wider, better arc of hearing, and

their ears are, well, bigger. Like felines and horses,

their ears can perk up to some degree and twist towards the general direction of a sound they pickup. Upon close investigation, I discovered that

their inner ear organs are almost 40% larger thanour own.

The sense of smell of a Sherris is far greater than their hearing or sight. Some portions of theirlanguage are difficult to comprehend simplybecause their sense of smell is so great, almostcomparable to a bloodhound.

The eyes of a Sherris are sharp andunblocked by hair. Their eyes have the same massas our own, only again, stretched. Their field ofvision is much wider than ours, and their night

vision is remarkable. Yet while they are structured to see better in darkness, light does not hinder them as much as one might think, simply because their eyes are so slender—they don’t pick up asmuch light from a sudden change like our wide, circular pupils. They also have no visible iris orpupil.

EXTREMITIES

Most Sherris have six digits, both in the hands andfeet, though some breeds have five. The hands andfeet of a Sherris are much longer than mostHumans, as well as far more slender, and Sherrisfeet are 15% bigger than their hands.

Their hands naturally curl inwards but theyare able to bend all of their fingers flatly against

the back of their forearms. To straighten their

fingers out completely however does requireassistance. There are one or two ridges on the topof their wrists (depending on if they have six orfive digits respectively). These ridges they oftenuse to scratch or clean themselves, sometimeseven gnaw on out of habit to keep their teethfiled. It is also the preferred punching area asopposed to the more bony and thin knuckles.

Page 6: Raw'Pone Profile

Unlike most creatures we are familiar with, their feet are spread wide and arc-like, veryunusual to describe. Long and very disjointed, with toes containing longer segments thanhumans. Very similar to a rat's; able to curlaround objects but allowing them to hangupside-down like bats. But unlike rodents, theyhave two opposable digits like thumbs (the sixthdigit if they have it), allowing them to grasp andhold things with them. The claws on their feet arealso very hooked. When on stable, flat ground,

they naturally curl outward giving themwidespread support. But once lifted, the hooks of their toenails curl inward as it relaxes, like raptorclaws.

One thing a Sherris has that mostintelligent beings we know lack however, is asemi-prehensile tail. They use the tail as an extralimb, able to grasp and hold to a limited extent, very flexible. They carry secondary tools such as

lamps or small firearms so that they can move onall fours, or use their hands for other tasks.

POISE

Falling and stumbling is not a thing of Sherris andyet they are not graceful like Elven races. They aredirect and purposeful, simple and straightforward. They can sit, lie, stand, jump, and walk in the

same manner of Humans. At the same time, theycan run, walk, lie, leap, and crawl like rodents.

Sherris typically sleep to conserve space andwarmth by curling up in a ball. When conditionsare especially cold, Sherris will huddle together.Even when conditions are warm or hot, Sherriswill still lie close together to conserve space. Theyprefer to sleep in this manner behind an object orin the corner beside objects. This gives them a

sense of protective comfort. When staying in thehome of a humanoid, they will sleep not on, butunder the bed. Sherris rarely sleep with blankets orsheets, unless cold conditions require.

In the military or among those withdefensive mindsets, Sherris will lay side-by-side,maybe even in a square-type fashion together, with rifles and pistols under their bellies. Thisallows them to point their ears, eyes, and noses inall directions. Should a threat come on tooquickly, they can stand as one, even whensurrounded, and defend themselves. When alone,

they will curl up behind the door’s rotating axis, face the opening from the side lying down, or putas much wall to their backs as possible.

When they move, it is always with greatcare and purpose to try and be as efficient as

possible. To us, it looks like they are in a busyhurry and performing everything with great skill. For example, I wanted a glass of juice, so I openeda container to pull out the ingredients. Then I gota glass from a cupboard, set the glass down,

turned around, organized the contents, and thenremembered to close the container. I set aboutmaking my juice, forgetting a mixer and pulling

that from a drawer and when I finally finished, I

Page 7: Raw'Pone Profile

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/rawpone-profile 7/20

opened the container at least three times, andfinally put away the mixer. The entire process

 took two and half minutes.

A Sherris watching me asked why I didwhat I did. I didn’t know, I didn’t notice. So he

asked if he too could have a glass of juice. Iallowed him and I was amazed at his efficiency. Hedid so many things all at once. He opened thecontainer with his tail while getting a glass out,and as he moved his body to shut the container,he opened the drawer and pulled out the mixeralong with a collection of ingredients. As hefinished, he had arranged the items in the exactmanner they came out, and in one swift motionopened the container, put the ingredients and

mixer in, closing the cabinet while drinking hisglass, his process was roughly 30 seconds.

PHYSIC L C P BILITIES

A Sherris is not much stronger than the averageHuman. Even extensive work out is difficult for aSherris because their bodies are so thin andflexible. Their strength comes from what theirbodies can do as a whole, being able to bend and

twist in ways most humanoids cannot. They aremuch better at pulling (and pushing when bracedagainst something) but usually cannot lift as wellas a human of equal muscle density. They arequick and nimble creatures. It is believed thatbecause their bodies are so slender, despite beingso long, they are able to move to reactions faster

than Humans can, who have thicker, bigger

muscles and heavier bones.Being able to run on all fours like a rodent

allows them to gallop at an astounding 30 - 42mph (50 – 65 kph). Like humans, each Sherris’personal running speed depends on their lifestyle, job, or experience. Most militia can run on allfours at least 35 mph (60 kph) in a two milesprint with weapons and equipment, though

many specialist relay messengers can top about 45mph (70 kph). This is another the reason theSherris perceive time slightly different than weHumans do, since how they can move so fast andconserve time in their tasks so well.

Their flexibility allows them to move intoareas that would be impossible for normalhumanoids. Many can unhinge their bones like asnake’s jaws, reconfigure, and then reassemble

them. A group of Sherris known as “BoneSyngers” have trained to specifically movebetween small spaces at good speeds. They cancrawl through tunnels only ten inches wide! Inaddition, they can move their bones and musclesin such a way as to be able to swim through tight

spaces, appearing as grotesque shape-shiftingcontortionists.

Binding a Sherris with ropes is impossible, because of the way they can manipulate theirbody, and between claws, teeth, and tail, they can

tear or bite through. Even with metal bindings that wrap around their body thy can disjoint themselves. If their tail is able to move about, aSherris may be able to escape, using it as a lock-pick. And most Sherris are well-trained escapeartists.

Sherris can also perform some stunts andacrobatic movements impossible to Humanstandards. While they do not leap, bound, and

twirl so much in wasted movement, I have seen aSherris scale a six-story building in an alleyway inonly a couple seconds with minimal effort,

starting off with a straight jump as high as I am tall. I watched that same Sherris clear a one-waystreet and its sidewalks in a running leap. Theconservation of energy comes as a first priority tomost, though followed closely by time.

Reaction time for a Sherris is alsoremarkable. By catching things that fall, dodgingcollisions, and sweeping up items as they move all

Page 8: Raw'Pone Profile

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/rawpone-profile 8/20

helps save time and energy. This basic lifestyle andexpectation in their society grant the Sherris anatural flow about things. They look at otherhumanoids (especially Humans) as curiouslyclumsy. Their word for “clumsy” is a combinationof “accident”, and “wasteful”, and they find the

concept difficult to comprehend. Instead ofsaying, “How clumsy of me,” they would say,“How accidentally wasteful of me.”

Lastly as I mentioned previously about their ability to handle things with their limbextensions and tail, I have seen a Sherris holdherself with barely the claws on one foot and a tailaround a beam upside-down, while holding threepistols, one in each hand and one in the other

foot. I have also seen Sherris successfully fend themselves in tight spaces against a mob by goingon their backs and discharging 5 different pistols, one in each hand, foot, and one in the tail!

MET PHYSIC L

One, quite strange element to the Sherris is theirresistance in the mind. Wherever they go, theSherris are an anathema to the metaphysical.Indeed, they find the concept difficult tounderstand. The nature of telepaths, of psionicsand psychics has a hard time penetrating the mind

of a Sherris. To try and create hallucinations, attack their minds, confuse their thought processwith magical trickery, and even harder, simplyreading their minds (much less detecting theirpresence) is a confounding thing.

For example, one distant acquaintance of mine isan alien telepath (race: Vywnn) who is strongenough to inflict a headache on a man to kill himHe sat down with my close friend Shyr, a Sherris Iknow well, to play a human-based chess match. Not only could he not read his mind, “this void”he said clouded his judgment and other secondarypowers, such as being able to predict the future ormove pieces telekinetically. He predicted thatwere he to sit down and focus, as powerful as he

was, he was able to barely register basic feelings ofnervousness and confusion, but were the Sherrison the other side of a barrier (say a thick wall) itwould’ve been impossible to telepathically knowhe was ever there. Playing the game and focusinghis powers almost made him sick for the durationof the game, and he said had he continued tryingwith all his might, he probably would’ve passedout or died.

To say the least, Shyr was able to win the gamebut he himself believes that it was only because hisopponent was distracted sick thanks to his soreessence on the telepath.

Notes

5: Having had the privilege of witnessing many Sherris in action, I agree with the assessment in full.

However, I have noticed that Raw’Pone, despite his age, seems to have a remarkable capability when

working at full capacity. Without medical expertise I do not understand the trait, but there were moments when he could be noted as average to subpar to Sherris physical standards [in regard to physical activity

strain]. This sometimes followed or preceded moments of extreme bursts of physical exertion I neverthought possible. He was once almost  keeping up with a Skitcar-Lense anti-grav skiff bike, which has a

recorded maximum speed of 80 kph (50 mph) near the surface!

Notes

6: This is from a level of heightened “black adrenaline” that seems to affect older, aged Sherris.

Once released it increases a Sherrris’ capabilities by over 30%, but is capable of wearing them down. It

has unusual effects on their metabolism but Raw’Pone as reported seems to have overcome the worst of

the effects somehow.

LONG RANGE: Tri-barreled Psych Railgun

^ This is a capable, long-ranged weapon that is believed to have been instrumental in several

assassinations and long-distance killing of officers. Little else is known 2 (21, 30, 49).

̂Approximately 4’9” in length, one of the trademark weapons of Raw’Pone is this unusual rifle-like

weapon. It is believed upon basic design that it is of Ghunician modification of Ascended technology

remolded into a modern Human-like rifle design. This would assume that it is extraordinarily reliable,

easy to maintain, and virtually indestructible. It has three barrels sharing three extended electromagneticrails. This particular weapon also has descriptions of Vywnn psych-kinetic energetic properties as noted

in the power source at the mid-section of the stock, the connections keeping the barrels locked together,

and the design of the scope. Nobody has gotten a chance to examine it very thoroughly. It is known that

all Sherris do not prefer the use of any technology they have not personally thoroughly tested or trust.

And we all know the tampering of the Ghunic to always blend the most superior aspects of anything they build. 5 (14, 22, 63)

To those unfamiliar, the principles of a Railgun are quite simple. All matter exists in one of four states:

solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. Railguns are typically projectile-plasma weapons that uses extremely

powerful magnets (called rails) or other energy sources to heat material past the state of gas into an

unstable plasma state, and at high speeds is forced out of the barrel at velocities ten times or greater thespeed of sound. The weakness of Railgun technology is the durability of the Rails. Since the early 21 st

Century, Humans could only afford fewer than a dozen shots per set of rails because the extreme amount

of friction placed on the metals destroyed and eroded them. And the extreme amount of energy requiredto power such a weapon meant that they were restricted to naval warship use in which nuclear reactors

could be used. 5 (14, 22, 63)

^ This Ghunic design uses the long-lasting psych-kinetic energy of the Vywnn Stimpsychcryte [pro:

stim-sigh-cry-t ] storing their psychic potential as an energy. Discussion with alien technological expertsand my own questions directly to Vywnn sources, Raw’Pone’s weapon energizes sections of our own

Tibaryium we use for Railguns. Projectiles of any solid or liquid material is inserted in a canister. Unlikemany rapid-firing plasma weapons that are dangerous to operate with stored energy, this only shaves off

a fraction of psych-kinetic energy (activated by the trigger) that rapidly evolves the material into a plasmastate. Solid or liquid does not matter, the projectile will not pass into one of the barrels without first

becoming a plasma bolt. The bolt will then be accelerated along the rails that are powered by the same

moment of the trigger pull, and exit the barrel at Mach 12+. The weapon then begins to power down.

This is based on eyewitness accounts of the weapon under operation, no examination or cross-section

reverse-engineering has been used to verify these assumptions. Since it is psych-kinetic powered, EMP weapons will not have any effect on the weapon itself. 6 (20, 16, 63)

^ An exact, less technical description of its operation—I once saw Raw’Pone discussing potential plans

of engagement with a hostile force with us while grabbing sand and dumping it into the open canister.

He was using his cloak to hide some of the light that was being emitted from it. Later, I was with two

others who were sniping and spotting with him (article ref: 30 ). One of his targets was a pair ofRoadrunner-class scout walkers. I know they aren’t much more durable than an armored truck, but at

927 meters he shot at one, hitting a head-sized communication box, and a few seconds later shot the

other one, going through the armored compartment and hitting the pilot square in the chest. A third shoton the first Roadrunner which had its leg fall off after two steps. We captured the pilot (who could notradio any distress signals) and verified his targeting. It was actually his decision; the pilot he killed did

not alert his HQ and the other pilot couldn’t. Grains of sand were his munitions. 5 (14, 22, 63)

MIDRANGE: Pistols

^

Raw’Pone appears to use various types of pistols with various origins, including those of our own, to

extreme effect. It is known, like many skilled Sherris warriors, he is capable of wielding 3-4 different

weapons of handgun size simultaneously, using his tail and/or feet to operate extras2

 (21, 30, 49).

^ The only pistols Raw’Pone ever used in my experience are those shown above. He carried a pair of

Dueling Psych-Rail Pistols, which I have seen him use as clubs and throwing weapons to decent effect.

They are based on the same properties as the [Tri-barreled] Psych Railgun, the handles carrying an exact

sized canister into which I assume Raw’Pone can put in nearly any solid or liquid mass for use asprojectiles. The main difference is the shortened barrel [and Rails] along which the projectiles can be

accelerated, reducing range and power but still very accurate compared to a slug-thrower of similar size.

The Crescent Pistol is one we are familiar with as the primary sidearm of the Vywnn, notably with the

breakaway faction Remnant. It is a psych-kinetic energy weapon that absorbs and stores many forms ofenergy potential within the Stimpsychcryte form. Watching targets, it does not have the same penetration

ability of the Psych-Rail pistols, but emits a small, concussive blast when it strikes targets, and it has a

lethal burning potential on solid materials. 5 (14, 22, 63)

^ I concur with the above notes. The Psych-Rail pistols do not have the same rate of fire as the Crescent

pistol, and ordinarily are fired using thought. The weapon usually houses an imitated, basic telepath mind

similar to an A.I. that directly understands the user’s intent most of the time. However, the Sherris’

particular anathematic traits to all things psychic would restrict the weapon to be used on a trigger

widen the blast, increase impact, or shorten them for higher rates of fire, except those housing a trigger

which vary from piece to piece. I judge Raw’Pone’s Crescent pistol as capable of close to 100 rpm. The

Psych-Rail pistols closer to 40-50 rpm. 6 (20, 16, 63)

SHORT RANGE: Blades |

Skill evel

:

 Expert|

Usage : Very High As many skilled Sherris assassins, Raw’Pone carries unusualknives and daggers of dark essence and unknown properties.

^

Raw’Pone had with him at all times two particular blades as

you can see depicted at right. I handpicked them from a wide

range of images of war paraphernalia by Private First ClassJohnathan, Medes A. The one at top had a steel-like handle that

encased an obsidian-like textured spear-tip with a slight, dull

glow, though Raw’Pone’s blade was more purple that the one

depicted here and shorter I believe by 2”. I do not know thematerial but it was extremely good at tearing; I saw him lock aman’s arm in a hold and with a swift, saw -like motion cut it off at the elbow, despite the bone. I watched

him nearly decapitate an alien’s head with a swift punch-like motion with its handle, and stab the eye out

of another behind him without looking right after. He also used it as a chisel, digging away at solid rock

during an excavation we were undertaking. I think he referred to it as a Shyr’lek  5 (14, 22, 63).   ̂Shyr’lek  roughly translates to Sherr’i (Sherris language) “curving blade”, so the reference was probably

to the other weapon. It is likely that this weapon is some type of corrupted or aged Stimpsychcryte. If

true, the blade of the weapon probably emits a faint telekinetic “pulse” when coming in hard contact with

another object, giving it a type of force field. 6 (20, 16, 63).

^ The other blade was very similar to the listed here as a “poisoned hook dagger”, but the curve of it

was longer like a short-sword. There was a blackish substance that was dried around it and he took

special care to make sure nobody touched the stuff. I have no idea how potent it was; everyone he

seemed to attack died or was knocked out as he felt the need irregardless of weapon. It was not on thehandle-tip. I have seen him throw it to very good effect, remarkably landing blade on or in his target

every time 5 (14, 22, 63). ^ The black material is likely dried Remortal blood. The aliens’ blood has a

thick, pasty texture that dries quickly but has a very low melting point. It is very acidic on organic matter,

clothes, and plastic 6 (20, 16, 63).

^

I understand that many Sherris warriors have a close combat

preference for staves in the event offighting multiple or unsure enemies.

Thusly, his rifle seemed to be fitted with areas in which his two blades could be inserted creating an

extremely lethal and effective staff weapon. With this, his combat skills seemed to have doubled, quickly

jerking with the back or curve of either blade to disarm opponents, thrust and stab, or use blunt force. In

some instances, he would insert the hook blade into the butt of the Railgun and discharge it at momentshe was able right into the combat 5 (14, 22, 63).

SPECIAL 1: Explosives

Raw’Pone has mystical abilities like a ninja of legend that allow him tocreate explosive destruction without warning. ^Disregard. Sherris make

a few of their own personal explosive devices and do carry a wide variety

of grenades. 2(21, 30, 49)

^

Quite nonsense, having captured two Sherris and thoroughlyexamined them with further study of them in action, we now know the

hand is quicker than the eye, as they discharge various explosives they

carry on their person. 4 (03, 30, 57)

^ Raw’Pone carried with him a various assortment of explosives, and the posse he was with supplied

him with multiples of each of these. On his person he always carried 1 Core Detonator, 1 Tangle-wire

Grenade and 1 Smoke Grenade. On occasion he would carry 1 Teleporter Orb. At least, these are the

names of the weapons I deduce from a collection of pictures and names as made by Private First Class

Johnathan. The Smoke Grenade we are most familiar with; I was rather bewildered and honored that he

would find a liking to a tool of Human technology. The Type-61 grenades he preferred included fumes with a cough inducer and gas that, if enough was breathed in, would rapidly fill in the lungs as a foam,

and cause one to sometimes die of suffocation or poisoning, though not common. The substance is

irritating to the eyes, nasal cavities, skin, throat, and poisonous to ingest, causing severe stomach and

bowel pains, indigestion, vomiting and diarrhea for hours. We, in extremely rare cases use as improvisedthrowing devices due to being capable of coating an entire apartment living space and are usually fired

from grenade launchers or mounted on the outside of vehicles. Sherris don’t seem  to be quite nearly as

bothered by it though as I watched them run straight through the stuff.

The Tangle-Wire Grenade is a Sherris device of variable size and lethality. It contains a number of

tightly-coiled cords and wire that are extremely flexible, studded with sharp ends. It also sometimes has atype of monofilament wire and shrapnel. When broken or shattered with enough force, the cords and

wires rapidly uncoil, thrashing about and entangling and cutting as many as a dozen persons. If

monofilament wire is present, it will slice into joints and clothing with ease, and as one target squirmsand shreds himself to pieces, he drags others around him with it.

TheCore Detonator

(I believe the blast facing is on the left and front view is on the right) is a Vywnn

psych-kinetic energy weapon. It is a “shaped charge” that holds a large amount of the energy and hastelekinetic sticking properties once the timer is activated. This means it can stick to any surface,

regardless of substance or sink itself in a liquid or, as I saw it used, pass through a high-impact shield. It

will then discharge, forcing the Stimpsychcryte into a super-heated molten blast.

Page 13: Raw'Pone Profile

But perhaps the strangest device is the Teleportation Orb. What Humanity would give to have this

technology! This is a small softball ball sized sphere that is activated on willpower. It will begin to search

for a frequency of similar activation to link to another teleportation orb. At that time it will begin to glow

very brightly, and after that I could not observe it any longer for fear of going blind, but a sphere of 7.5meters disappears around it (ref article: 28 ). The first orb (designated the no-link orb ) will teleport those

within about 2 meters of the epicenter safely to 2 meters around the epicenter of a second link-orb . If

another orb is not activated with a link, then everything is teleported via failed Improbability Drive (ateleportation method in which a butterfly effect is created to dump the teleporter roughly near anintended target, but through tricking random chance). In layman’s terms, all within that 7.5 meters is

dumped in a random place in the universe. Even with two linked orbs however, those outside the 2-meter

safe zone are teleported dangerously into the new place. If both link orbs are activated simultaneously,

they will send everything in both places to each other’s location. I witnessed the entire destruction of a

700-meter sized alien warship by having two orbs linked together [launched from Vywnn Angel-classattack craft], one in the fusion generator of a damaged propulsion system, and the other in a main

weapons’ compartment, teleporting explosives into the propulsion exhaust port and fusion energy into

the weapon containment, causing two crippling explosions.

This Vywnn technology that Raw’Pone has is a smaller version and he only keeps one on his person.Since they are thinning into rarity, he and the other Vywnn use them very sparingly. Once used, a

Teleportation Orb is destroyed 5 (14, 22, 63).

SPECIAL 2: Miscellaneous Tools

^ Raw’Pone also carried on his person a large amount of

sharpened objects of various size and shape, from a simple blade the length of a finger, to something like a ninja star.

When three men burst into the room to attack us, by thetime I turned my head all three had various sharp objects

lodged in them around their faces and necks, apparently all

from Raw’Pone. He managed to throw them all with deftprecision while jumping, using his tail and both hands and

feet in a trained cycle and little thought. He later used

them (and some new ones he had been carving in free

time) as caltrops (sharp objects strew on the floor). Someof these he could put into a type of blowgun and shoot

them at a short range on targets. He also carried with him a rope with bolas on one end and grappling

hooks on the other, which he used with deft skill as a flexible weapon the likes I never thought possible. In two swings (one of each end), I watched him disarm an opponent of his hand weapon, trip the man

next to him, and hooked the eye and cheek of a third, the weight of the second dragged him to theground. He must have known there were more coming because the instance of the three attacking in the

door, the caltrops trap and this rope-weapon use were in the same combat, killing or disabling 9 of their

number with such minimal effort and using their bodies to create a further barricade for more to enter

the bridge (ref article: 31 ) 5 (14, 22, 63).

= DEFENSES =

DAMAGE RESISTANCE: Sherris are mythical beings that possess unnatural power to avoid taking

damage. It is believed that they can phase straight through reality.

^ Most Sherris, and Raw’Pone is probably no exception, rely on skill and use of cover with their

environment to avoid taking damage. Armor is seen as clunky and restrictive and so very few Sherrisentertain the idea of using it. In fact, wearing armor makes one feel a bit claustrophobic. Some will use

small, personal energy shields or temporarily pick up and use the bodies of enemies or their armor to

sneak close to targets. Sherris also show remarkable reaction as detailed earlier under Physiology. Other

than this, Raw’Pone is believed to be just as vulnerable to damage as any human if not more -so due toapparently being flammable. 2(21, 30, 49)

DAMAGE INTAKE:

^Below is an excerpt from my work, The Sherris Underworld  on certain unique internal organs of the

Sherris to show their resilience to succumbing to some harmful materials 2 (21, 30, 49).

OTHER ORG NS

Their digestive tracks allow them to eat on carrionbits at a time if necessary or straight up graze onplants. They possess no liver, but both theirintestines and lungs have specialized filtration cells

that absorb anything that would be harmful, and then they die off, passed into the digestive track. In the lungs, they can be hacked up in the form ofdark phlegm. When many of these die in largeamounts, it seems to create a groaning pain, severity depending on what they have ingested, alerting them that they have ingested somethingforeign and highly poisonous. Thus, a Sherris candetect when harmful gasses that have no smell arebeing taken into his lungs before a human, and

then be given a bit more time to get away and

survive, or they can ingest and breath trace, toxicmaterials with little long-term problems.

Sherris also have special sacs like a type ofsweat gland most pronounced under their wrists, behind the ears, and around the ankles. Theysecrete a faint, musky odor that is partly oily. I havefound that it has extremely potent anti-microbialproperties, killing fungus, bacteria, and is naturallyrepellant to certain insects. Just like when Humanshave a tendency to sweat under stress, the glandswill secrete this substance. I suggest it is prevalent asa survival strategy when hiding or stalking to keepnuisances at bay so they can concentrate.

This material, when interacting with bloodcells, forms together into a type of gel that hardensinto tight-forming, glue-like crystals. I suspect(though have not tested) that in the circumstance

in which a Sherris is wounded, this mixture understress helps coagulate the blood.

^ I cannot comment any further, I never saw Raw’Pone even bleed as he never seemed to sustainsignificant injury in the time I was with him 5 (14, 22, 63).

= BACKGROUND =

Raw’Pone like all of his Sherris kin is a demonic entity from legend. For now, all we can know is that heis the epitome of the Boogie Man. Encourage the troops and the hunters that they can bleed and die.

^ The origins of the Sherris are quite mysterious. Each Community on each planet have conflicting

records and most did not have a fully developed written or spoken language by the time they were up to

the system they are at now. Most Sherris, while obviously curious about the universe around them andthe past filled with triumphs and mistakes, do not take it as a special interest. The exception lie with the

scribes. They take the role of documenting events, like journalists or chroniclers, but also as excavators

and researchers. Without a unified theme to technology, their libraries are scattered and loose. It is

believed that however the Sherris developed must have been so sudden, so immediate, or so rapid that without knowing that specific origin nothing can be known for sure. In fact, unusually so, most Sherris

believe it is wasteful to dwell too much on it as they are already here and this is the way things are.

So it would seem reasonable to look to alien records, but little can be gleamed from them as the Psy only

give us large expensive steps, the Lytel Alliance are untrustworthy and incredulous, the Vywnn Expanse

has limited knowledge or willingness to share, and that has left only me with the Sherris. Much of what we do know of the Second Universe came from the Sherris 2(21, 30, 49).

^  We now know quite a bit thanks to our ally Psy, the one we titled ‘Origami’ , but he agreed with the

assessment. By the time the Sherris race was at large and discovered, they had already inhabited over ahundred systems. Once intergalactic investigation began by the Lytel Alliance and the Vywnn Expanse,

they seemed to exist everywhere. It is possible though doubtful, that they live within our home universe

and throughout the SOLidarity 5 (14, 22, 63).

^ The Sherris existence was made known in 00, 00, 12 or 2166 Sol (I will remind the reader that time

in the Second Universe had a period in which time passed 2.072 times faster than in the First Universe ofSol). The Vywnn Expanse recently lost their planet to a terrible accident (00, 00, 14) and knowing the

underground, widespread nature of them, blamed it on the Sherris. This triggered an intergalactic

extermination. The Lytel Alliance, rivals to the ever-growing Vywnn Expanse, took the opportunity toforce the Sherris into their empire. Though agents of the so-called Remnant faction tell us that it was due

to a terraforming experiment of their own dangerous doing which caused their entire solar system to

collapse (article ref   24) 2(21, 30, 49).

As the story was told to me, Raw’Pone and a human companion were accidentally taken as stowaways

onboard a Remnant expedition 00, 00, 13. His Sherris Community is believed to have been on the colony

planet Toroq. It is believed that he used be some kind of courier-trader on his original home planet, moving secret messages and tokens from the surface world down below throughout tunnel networks.

This gave him a basis in parkour, infiltration, acrobatics and other stealth-based capabilities. TheRemnant taught him the art of combat and he quickly learned his own way and became a terrifyingly

excellent assassin and saboteur

Page 16: Raw'Pone Profile

7/18/2019 Raw'Pone Profile

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/rawpone-profile 16/20

After several [relative] decades of experience, Raw’Pone learned about all the different races and

capabilities, having fought virtually everyone and everything in piratical and joint-military raids as a

mercenary. He requested to return to the Sherris Communities and went on a missionary journey

teaching what he learned. The Sherris accepted his teachings in droves, whole militias starting up virtually overnight. It wasn’t preferred, but it was that or face extinction and slavery.  Where once Sherris

were faced with their extermination, now hundreds of worlds had populations willing to fight those who

did not let them be. Raw’Pone became the author of the Sherris  Fight Book, teaching them all there wasto applying their self-defense techniques into lethal forms of offensive martial arts. Their sneaking andacrobatic movements were turned into field-crafty moves of guerrilla warfare. Spying networks turned

into assassinations, sabotage to delay became destructive logistical forces. And spearheading the effort all

the way was Raw’Pone. 5 (14, 22, 63).

BELIEFS

^ The Sherris as a race have a large fascination with wisdom. Some Sherris worship Wisdom as a

goddess or essence. I do not know if Raw’Pone partakes in the Wisdom Cults. 2(21, 30, 49). ^ He does

not. Raw’Pone upholds wisdom as central to life and survival like all Sherris, but he does not worship the

concept.

A perfectionist in a race of perfectionists, he follows the Sherris cultural ‘courtesy’ of manners by naming

every possible and potential flaw until he comes to a reasonable amount of understanding. He has a very

poor opinion of the ignorant (those who refuse information or understanding) but prefers to embarrassrather than insult. He has absolutely no respect for people who want to just drop the subject matter.

However, having lived with the Vywnn and experienced a multitude of events with every race, hisperception is much more open-minded than even most Sherris, accepting other races the way they are

and approaching them accordingly. Most Sherris attempt to continually persuade and treat other races as

other Sherris, which can sometimes create a great deal of cultural exchange failure 5 (14, 22, 63).

Page 17: Raw'Pone Profile

PERSONALITY

^To most, Raw’Pone appears dull and critical. He tries to be short and to the point unless he is teaching

or learning. He is sharp in tongue and mind and extremely witty. He can be very patient but when the

situation demands he gets very stressful about achieving success. Gritty and always ready with a plan B,he is direct and speaks his mind, insulting thoughts or not. He appeared to me never to have been

surprised but considering his extreme amount of combat experience and knowledge I can see why.

From what I judge, the standard Morality Alignment System does not fit well with Raw’Pone. That he isa type of Neutral that much can be certain. My first impression was that he was a True Neutral, judging

from his rather bland and robotic emphasis on things, caring mostly only for his own survival.

But he worked with a purpose. His first love is to his race and his people. Everything he does is

ostentatious but he is not arrogant about it himself. Instead he talked considerably in the third person, referencing his race and culture. He pushes his charges hard and constantly berets his own, but for their

benefit and strength. On that note, he seemed Neutral Good to Sherris and his allies.

However, he can also be very crafty. For me, he saved my life and that of my loyal crew during themutiny incident, and began to somewhat ‘bond’ with me, taking particular interest in my family and beliefs and helping me reinforce my directions and outlook on life. But he also made me his bitch using

my exact same principles, and I had no idea until after the fact. It seemed quite obvious he was using me

and my beliefs and strengthening them in agreement only for that purpose. He did it to everybody, even

his long-time friends to some extent.

I also saw points of Lawful Evil in him, he has killed, even eaten, children (for the immediate

nourishment) and insisted on the entire destruction of a whole solar system to stop the spread of a

disease that we discovered later was reversible. But he knew it and wanted the fastest, most efficient way

to solve the problem. Since we didn’t agree with him, “for the good of your crew”, he caused the death ofa great deal of civilians and noncombatants. When we all found out, that was when the mutiny hit. He

expected it too, and was purposefully trying to weed out the ones who needed to stay and those who

didn’t, and those who survived the ordeal came out all the stronger for it 5 (14, 22, 63).

= X-FACTORS =

5 (14, 22, 63).

PHYSICALITY: 4 – Raw’Pone is stronger than the average Sherris and is able to lift more than his own

weight, but this would only give him a raw lifting strength equal to the average human. Most Sherris are

actually slightly weaker.

MELEE:9

 – Raw’Pone has extensively studied and practiced with the use of every close combat weaponpotentially in existence (accessible to him) for his own use, and studied several martial practices. He

wrote the most comprehensive, detailed, and practical methods of using a Sherris body in a physical

combat in virtually all winnable scenarios. On top of this, he has studied how other races use their martial

arts in general combat and fought nearly every race in the Second Universe. This includes the defttelekinetic Vywnn, the oversized brutal Morx, the rampant, multi-legged Remortals, the limb-shifting

otherworldly Shadows, tall and lean Ghunic, the half-real Skitcar, the whip-tailed, quadruped cloned

Ziklag, and of course on more occasions than not, us Humans.

STEALTH: 6 – His skills at fieldcraft are unsurpassed by any in our military and beyond what humans

could produce on their own, at least not with his speed. But he does not carry any form of specializedcloaking technology. To accommodate this, he knows how to temporarily fool various forms of detection

when in a preferred environment, and I have seen him from tracking observation pass undetected despite

unusual and otherwise full-proof scanners. It’s no wonder he has been attributed to metaphysical abilities

for so long. I suspect a more persistent search of him in a known area would betray his location.

SENSORY: 6 – His sense of smell is as described akin to a well-trained bloodhound. Not only are his

eyes so well accustomed to finding the most minute details while sneaking or scavenging, but he can see

well in low-light conditions (even prefers it!). He could also smell biological changes in the body; hecould tell when I was going into REM sleep and when I had to take a leak just from his sense of smell.

STAMINA: 4 –  At a pace of ease, Raw’Pone seemed perfectly capable of going on longer than most,

probably any, Human is capable of. But he still required some rest and eating, nothing supernatural.

ENERGY POTENTIAL: 1 – The only technology Raw’Pone handles is either long-term as in his ranged

weapons, or they are depleted upon use.

RAW SPEED: 5 – Note, this is at a full gallop on all fours, nobody seems to know how fast he is on onlyhis hind legs as he never runs upright for more than a couple steps.

REFLEXES:9

 – The things I have seen this master assassin pull off are amazing feats of agility. Next toclose combat prowess and creativity, this is probably his best and most capable trait.

WILLPOWER: 6 – Though I will point out that what he considers hard odds are probably a lot higher

than what most of us would consider.

INTELLIGENCE: 5 – Raw’Pone was clearly well-versed on many subjects, but he did not seem to be ofany particular subject, especially that of technology.

Page 19: Raw'Pone Profile

7/18/2019 Raw'Pone Profile

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/rawpone-profile 19/20

INTIMIDATION: 4 – It was quite unnerving for anyone and everyone to be in Raw’Pone’s presence,

and this only increased once we got see him in action as an ally. I will admit though after encountering a

few aliens and seeing the way and manner in which he spoke, it took me no more than ten minutes to be

accustomed to him. But most of his intimidation came from either reputation or how well he startles yousneaking up from behind so suddenly.

 AUDACITY:5

 – Raw’Pone is brave and has seen several horrors in his lifetime, but he is not stupid andnot even the boldest of his kind. He approaches all situations with as much caution as time can affordhim.

INTUITION:6

 – Raw ’Pone, while we know he has no connection to anything particularly metaphysical

(at least, so we continue to speculate), he was always seemingly aware of when there was to be a large

amount of bloodshed coming. An inherent gut feeling, it was like he could smell death on the air andevery time he predicted that we needed to avoid or take an action, he would sniff the air intently. I have

been told that his sense of smell is so strong he can predict intention of those around him.

STRENGTH OF MIND:7

 – As with other Sherris, he is extremely resistant to the effects of themetaphysical. While I don’t know how much it varies among Sherris (if Raw’Pone is stronger or weakercompared to that of his race), I know that it took three Vywnn with their amplifiers to move an

unconscious Sherris gently from one room to another, and they struggled. One sufficed without problem

for a human child. I didn’t bother asking if it was their telekinesis that faltered or their concentration. I

noted that later the Vywnn allies with Raw’Pone and other Sherris didn’t seem inhibited to use any oftheir abilities around them so long as they weren’t concentrated on the Sh erris themselves.

PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE: 7 – Raw’Pone makes full utilization of his environment to achieve

success, all the time. The direction he suggests from which to attack, the way he provokes anger or fear,

everything in his plan is a complex web to improve the best chances of achieving the mission. Everythingto him was nearly an advantage.

ADAPTIVE CREATIVITY: 10 – I observed that he has used dead, sunder-torn bodies to slide on to

make way down a slope at a good speed and create makeshift tools out of bent metal on a battlefield.Once Raw’Pone used one of his smoke grenades to make it look like a truck we were driving was

damaged and curved into an alleyway. A whole formation of tanks made their way to that location as we

sped away in another direction. He then said we could use the smoke as a clear beacon for a

 bombardment.

= STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES =

STRENGTHS

- Infiltration, stealth, and guerrilla tactics; a dirty fighter, trap-setter and assassin, his most successful

hits come from behind

- Extremely skilled and experienced at close and midrange

- Sherris physiology (flexible, above-human sensory, reaction time, tail, etc.)

- As a Sherris, he is extremely resilient to psychic influence

- Good variety of weaponry

- He is resistant to poisons and drugs

 WEAKNESSES

- No armor, med-kits or better durability than most humans

- Slow to attack and retreats often from unknown targets; he will do his best to spy and observe them as

he isn’t comfortable with battling enemies he hasn’t encountered before, yet he does not prefer to be

 wholly opportunistic

- Unless the target is completely savage, he fights mostly defensively and relies on counter-attack, giving

individual opponents a chance to step down or surrender, and he will try to talk his way out of the fight

- Not much stronger than an average human

- Believing his death to be soon, his will to live would be faint if he’s wounded

- Flammable
