On behalf of the IBAA Inc committee I would like to welcome everyone to the RAW Nationals 2010.
This 6-day event is a celebration of a sport that is about to explode worldwide thanks to a new World Tour and TV series that will take showcase the sport to millions of viewers . IBA Australasia sets a clear path for competitors in Australia to make their way from club level , through State &
Nationals levels and onto the Rebel Sport Pro Tour and finally to the IBA World Tour. It’s a clearly defined stepping stone to the top.
The RAW Nationals 2010 is the pinnacle of amateur bodyboarding in Australasia and the Rebel Sport Pro is the climax to another amazing year of competiting.
On behalf of the committee I would like to wish all competitors good luck and I really hope that you all enjoy yourselves in this wonderful location of Tweed Heads.

It takes you though everything from special events, a description of the main events and a quick reference map of the area to get to the contest site when you want to.

Priority Event Location - Duranbah Beach The venue for this years event will again be Duranbah Beach.This break is situated just up and over the headland south of Greenmount Beach. Considered as the most consistent beach in Australia the wedgey peaks are perfectly suited towards high performance bodyboarding.
The event will be set up in the park at the “Lover’s Rocks” end of the beach at the end of the road..
Event Backup Location - Back-Beach Fingal This venue will only be used in extreme circumstances but handles NE winds and small swells

The 29th Raw Australasian Titles is the culmination of a series of gruelling State eliminations around the country and NZ.
The top placing competitors then represent their respective state/country at this National level to take home the title of Australasian Champion.
This is the pinnacle of amateur competition and a very important step towards being a professional Bodyboarder.
Raw Nationals
The Rebel Sport Pro is the 6th and final event on the 2010 Rebel Sport Pro Tour. The Tour has traveled through NSW, QLD, VIC, SA & WA over the last 10 months and with vital 4 Star points & almost $10,000 up for grab’s the action is sure to be mind-blowing!!
To be crowned National Rebel Sport Pro Champion is our sports greatest honor and strong performances on the National Pro Tour generally leads to a career on the elusive IBA World Tour.
Rebel Sport Pro
Australia & New Zealand will line up to represent their respective countries in a 1 hour match that will see the winning team walk away with bragging rights as the # 1 country in Australasia.
These teams will be a selection of the best riders the countries have to offer, so it’ll be one of the highlights of the whole week. The Kiwi’s are always hard to beat so get your colors on as we barrack for pride in this historic showdown...
For the record, Australia has three victories in the bag while New Zealand has one!. will NZ get up???
Trans Tasman tag team challenge
Again, the Presentation night will conclude the contest and be a night of highlights from the week and the year in general. After a long week of competition, the presentation night will be our chance to crown our new champions from all over Australia & NZ and crown the 2009 Rebel Sport Pro Tour Men, Women & DK Champions.
Tickets for the presentation will be in limited supply and available at the door for just $10. All competitors get free automatic entry
