Raven Portfolio: Competitive Analysis of “Thumbs Up”
While I was at Dassault Systemes SolidWorks, management decided to create an
internal tool called SWYM (See What You Mean). SWYM has many of the same
components as Jive. They considered selling it as a product (they have since
abandoned the idea).
Goal: Conduct a competitive analysis of “thumbs UP” and determine what word
and/or icon to use in SWYM.
Role: Researcher and designer
Result: Product Management and Engineering agreed to have us redraw the
Thumbs up and change from “Endorse this content” to “Like”

Add the persons’ name as a link to
