Located in the heart of Cairns, Rattle N Hum Bar & Grill boasts a prime location on the bustling esplanade, perfect for your next party, corporate event or Christmas celebration.
We offer an array of various spaces to accommodate your function, whether it be a sit-down or stand up cocktail style event. This includes the exclusive use of our unique Outback Garden area, which is ideal for any occasion. Our functions coordinator is available to discuss any requirements you may have and help tailor a package to best suit your needs.

VENUE
OUTBACK GARDENHidden at the rear of the venue, our unique Outback Garden is perfect for any type of function or event. Host your party in this intimate space and take advantage of the private bar, large projector screen and iPod docking station.
Cocktail and seated events are accommodated at ease with the area comfortably seating up to 120 guests for a formal lunch or dinner and up to 200 guests for a cocktail style party.
THE FOYERLocated at the front of the venue, The Foyer is perfect for sit-down meals and smaller group functions. Comfortably seating 20 guests and up to 30 for a stand up cocktail style event, this space also boasts a view of the lovely Cairns waterfront.

CONFIRMATION OF MENU AND FINAL NUMBERS
Final food and beverage choices must be confirmed 7 working days prior to your event including any special dietary requirements. Final number of guests must be confirmed 72 hours prior to the day on which the function is to be held.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT
A deposit may be required to secure function bookings depending on the size and time of year of event. This amount will then be deducted from the final account. Full and final payment is due on the conclusion of your function. All pre-ordered food is to be paid in full 7 days prior to the day on which the function is to be held. Credit card details are required as security and if necessary will be charged in the event of outstanding accounts not paid on the day.
CANCELLATION FEE
If confirmed numbers are not met on the function date, clients will be charged in full for the agreed food costs. If a function is cancelled within 45 days of the function date, the full deposit will be forfeited.
ENTERTAINMENT AND THEMING
All entertainment and theming is subject to management approval. We will be pleased to assist you in arranging entertainment, AV and decorations to ensure a memorable event. Costs would be at extra cost to the client.
DRESS CODE
It is expected that function guests are dressed in neat attire.
RESPONSIBLITY
Organisers are financially responsible for any damage sustained to Rattle N Hum Bar & Grill fittings, property or equipment caused by client, guests or outside contractors. No banners, signs or posters can be attached to walls, ceilings or windows without the managers consent. Management reserves the right to close the venue at any time with due warning and reasonableness. No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be bought into the venue by client or guest without prior consent of the venue manager.

Rattle N Hum is a fully licensed venue and practices responsible service of alcohol and will abide by the law in all instances. We are a non-smoking venue. Minors are allowed to attend functions only under the direct supervision of parents or lawful guardians. Minors must not consume alcohol under any circumstances.
SECURITY
Depending on the nature of your function security requirements outside our normal venue operations security may be required. This will be charged to the client at cost. Our functions coordinator will determine if security is required. You may also choose to have our security at your cost. Rattle N Hum Bar & Grill reserves the right to exclude or eject any or all guests or other person from the function and venue without liability. Management reserves the right to close the venue at any time with due warning and reasonableness. Neat Dress Codes apply at all times. Minors are allowed to attend functions only under the direct supervision of their immediate parents or lawful guardians. Minors must not consume alcohol under any circumstances.
