RatioResponse® TRANSPORTABLE FOAM CONCENTRATE DELIVERY SYSTEMS

RatioResponse is a self-contained transportable “flow-based” foam delivery device, designed to proportion and inject a precise ratio of foam concentrate, directly into one ormore on-board Waterways and/or Monitors.

Powered by a Tier-4 diesel engine, RatioResponse incorporates a “flow-based” hydraulically-driven, electronically controlled, foam concentrate proportioning system. Availablewith a 60, 90, 150, 300, 400 or 500-GPM foam pump capacity, and proportioning ratios of 0.1 to 10%, RatioResponse can accurately deliver foam concentrate for flows rangingfrom 500 to 6,000-GPM per Waterway. Being of a flow-base design, the incoming waterway pressure need only be sufficient to feed the downstream device(s), such asStandpipes, Fixed Monitors, Booster Pump or a downstream non-foam/water-capable-only Pumper Apparatus. Flow rates of water and concentrate are digitally displayed, bothas current flow and accumulated totals. RatioResponse is available with a single or multiple waterways, the latter being provided with independent injection points; eachallowed its own variable concentrate ratio.

RatioResponse is available in three (3) different configurations; Trailer Platform-Mounted, Encapsulated Skid-Mounted (also available with Transport Trailer), and Roll-OffPlatform-Mounted. Each configuration is self-contained including: appropriate HP diesel engine with onboard fuel supply, servo-controlled engine-driven hydraulic system withoil reservoir and radiator style cooler, bronze rotary gear foam pump with hydraulic motor drive, flow-through waterway(s) each with water flowmeter and concentrate injector,and Flow-Based/Direct Injection Single-Point (1-Waterway) or Multi-Point (2+ Waterways) foam concentrate injection system.

Optional Enhancements, available on all models of RatioResponse, include engine heat shield, single or dual high-flow Monitors, inlet and outlet Gate Valves and special Fittings,Waterway Pressure Relief Valve, Low-Flow Function (for hand line operations), Manual Override, Suction Hose Reel(s), and on-board Dry Chemical Vessels.

Aquis Ultraflow Foam System

RatioResponse®-AC, Stationary SystemRatioResponse-AC® is a self-contained stationary AC-motor powered, electronically-controlled Waterous Aquis Ultraflow Foam ConcentrateDelivery System; its designed purpose; to accurately proportion and directly inject Class-B liquid foam concentrate into one or more WaterWorks Infrastructure(s); thereby, providing a foam & water firefighting solution into a single or multiple permanent facility standpipe(s).

Powered by a 3-phase selectable-voltage AC Induction Electric Motor, RatioResponse-AC® incorporates a “flow-based” foam concentrateproportioning system, with a positive displacement rotary-gear foam pump; available in 40, 60, or 90 gallons per minute capacities, withpressure exceeding that of the supplied water infrastructure. Operator selectable proportioning ratios of 0.1% to 10% are possible, in 0.1%increments, producing accuracies of -0.0% to +10%. Flow-based technology also allows for low and variable infrastructure water pressures;accordingly, the supplied water pressure need only be enough to feed the downstream foam/water-fed devices, be it a Boost Pump,Distribution Manifold, Standpipes, Fixed Monitors, or Foam Chambers.

RatioResponse-AC® delivery systems, are available for direct injection into single or multiple infrastructure waterways; multiple, allowing formatching or variable proportioning ratios.

To accommodate upstream and downstream infrastructure water line, the RatioResponse-AC® Inlet and Outlet are available ASA Flanged,Victaulic, or installation compatible fittings. Optionally added Deluge Riser(s) enhance field operations and provide for RatioResponse-AC®exposure fire extinguishing capabilities. Gated Deluge Riser(s) can be sized to supply Monitors of up to 4000-GPM flow capacity.

Two (2) HMI (human mechanical interface) Touch-Screen Electronic Control Displays are provided, each mounted on a stand-alone stainlesssteel pedestal style explosion-proof control console, located; one (1) on-board the RatioResponse-AC® and one (1) for a Remote Location ofup to 2000-yards away. The HMI Controls allow ON/OFF control of the Proportioning System, Current Water Flow in GPM, Current Operator-Set Concentrate Ratio (as a percentage of water flow), and Total Amounts of Water & Concentrate Flowed (as a snap-shot + after operations).
