About this leafletThese rates start from the week beginning9 April 2018. We use Army ranks to show the rates, but they are the same for equivalent ranks in the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

Personal allowance

The allowance for an adult dependant, spouse or civilpartner may be affected if they earn more than £120 perweek. This is in line with the earnings limit for IncapacityBenefit (long term), JSA or State Pension. If they are notworking at present but begin work or start to receive anybenefit or income in their own right you must let us knowimmediately.
