The Applications along with Prospectus can be downloaded from the Vidyapeetha website: http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in. Applicants are required to enclose a Demand Draft of Rs.800/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs.200/- for SC/ST candidates drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of the Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati from 01.07.2019 onwards. The PwD candidates are not required to pay any fee. Separate application form should be submitted for each Post. The candidates who have applied in response to this office notifications advt. no.RSV/Estt./T/2017 dated 22.11.2017 and advt. no. RSV/Estt./T/2018 dated 11.07.2018 need not apply again. But, they are informed to submit the required additional information of educational qualifications/experience/publications as per the UGC regulations, 2018 on or before 09.08.2019. The fresh applicants are required to send the downloaded filled in applications along with prescribed fee to the Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha , Tirupati - 517 507, Chittoor (Dist.), Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Conditions for Teaching Posts

01. Professor in Nyaya (UR -01) - Academic Pay Level -14 (Rs.1,44,200-Rs.2,18,200)Eligibility (A or B) :

A.(i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant

discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research withevidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in thepeer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as perthe criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations on MinimumQualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universitiesand Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.

(ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as AssistantProfessor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalentlevel at the University /National Level Institutions with evidence of havingsuccessfully guided doctoral candidate.

ORB. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied

disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above)/industry, who hasmade significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline,supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years' experience.

02. Professor in Sahitya (UR - 01) - Academic Pay Level -14 (Rs.1,44,200-Rs.2,18,200)Eligibility (A or B) :

(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College oraccredited Research Institution/ industry with a minimum of seven publications in thepeer-reviewed or UGC listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75)as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations on MinimumQualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universitiesand Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education,2018.

04. Associate Professor in Yoga (UR-01 )Pay Level -13-A (Rs.1,31,400-Rs.2,17,100) (as per VII Pay Commission)

Eligibility :

(i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the subject concerned or in arelevant discipline.

(ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale,wherever the grading system is followed).

(iii) A minimum of eight years' experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College orAccredited Research Institution/ industry with evidence of published work and aminimum of seven publications as books and/or research/policy papers in peer-

Eligibility :

(i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevantdisciplines.

(ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale,wherever the grading system is followed).

(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College oraccredited Research Institution/ industry with a minimum of seven publications in thepeer-reviewed or UGC listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75)as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations on MinimumQualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universitiesand Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education,2018.

Eligibility (A or B) : A.

(i) Acharya in any Sastra/ M.A in Sanskrit or equivalent degree in Sanskrit with minimum50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system isfollowed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accreditedforeign university.

(ii) Shiksha Acharya (M.Ed.)/M.Ed./M.A in Education with minimum 50% marks (or anequivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from anIndian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the NationalEligibility Test (NET) in Education conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similartest accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded aPh.D. Degree in Education in accordance with the University Grants Commission(Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree) Regulations,2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exemptedfrom NET/SLET/SET:

Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009,shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall beexempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointmentof Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutionssubject to the fulfillment of the following conditions :-(a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;(b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;(c) An open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate has been conducted;(d) The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work,

out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;(e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work

in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.

The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean(Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.

Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplinesfor which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accreditedby the UGC, like SLET/SET.

ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any oneof the following : (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education(THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of theShanghai Jia Tong University (Shanghai). Note: The Academic score as specified in Appendix II (Table 3 A) forUniversities, and Appendix II (Table 3B) for Colleges, shall be consideredfor short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selectionsshall be based only on the performance in the interview as per UGCRegulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers

Eligibility (A or B) : A.

(i) Acharya/Master's degree in Vyakarana with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in apoint-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or anequivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

(ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the NationalEligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accreditedby the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree inVyakarana in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standardsand Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 andtheir amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET:

GENERAL INFORMATION

(1) Mere possession of eligibility conditions shall not entitle a candidate to be called forinterview. The date for determining the eligibility of all candidates in every respectshall be the closing date as prescribed in the advertisement for receipt of the applications.In other words no candidate shall be called for interview if he does not possess theminimum qualification and experience etc. as on the closing date of the application fora particular post.

(2) Acceptance of documents/certificates/claims etc. submitted by an applicant will besubject to their verification by the competent authorities/sources. If, any claim/certificate/document is found to be false/fake/incorrect/ malafide at any stage of verificationbefore or after appointment, the document in question shall be summarily rejected andaction may be initiated against the candidate for this misconduct including rejection ofhis candidature which shall lead to cancellation of his appointment, if already appointed.

(3) If at any stage of the recruitment process or employment, it is detected that there isa wilful suppression of factual information relating to the eligibility or otherwise as acandidate, followed by supply of fake documents/ or misleading statement/informationin the application or tampering of documents or providing such information relating tothe caste, educational qualifications, experience, date of birth or domicile etc., thecandidature shall be cancelled and services shall be terminated forthwith.

(4) For all teaching posts, the research publications of a candidate shall mean his originalcontributions/ works which have seen the light of the day after being published by anypublishers. The Publications must display the originality of the author with an innovativemind indicating scholarship. Under no circumstances editing of collected articles/materials which have already been published earlier can be equated with publicationsas this work does not meet the afore-mentioned objectives and requirements.

If no copies of the above certificates are sent with the application, it is liable to be rejected forreserved positions and no appeal against its rejection will be entertained.

12. A relaxation of 5% will be allowed from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Bachelor's as wellas at the Master’s level for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.

13. Only matriculation/SSC certificate /passing certificate issued by the concernededucation board will be considered as proof of Date of Birth. No other document will beaccepted for verification of date of birth.

14. The Vidyapeetha reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reasonthereof.

15. The candidates called for interview will have to come to the place of interview at their ownexpenses. However, outstation unemployed candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categoriescalled for interview will be paid to and fro single second class rail fare/ bus fare towardsjourney expenses on production of Tickets.

16. The candidates should bring their original research papers, degrees and certificates, etc. withthem for verification.

17. Candidates residing abroad may be considered in absentia by the Selection Committee and ifselected, shall be interviewed by the Vice-Chancellor.

18. The Vidyapeetha will send call letters for attending interview to the eligible candidates only asper rules.

19. The age of superannuation shall be 65 years for teachers subject to amendments from time totime.

20. Employed persons should send their applications through ‘proper channel’. However, directcopies may be sent to save delay, subject to the production of NO OBJECTIONCERTIFICATE at the time of interview.

21. Only prescribed applications to be downloaded from Vidyapeetha website(Website : http:// rsvidyapeetha.ac.in) will be accepted. If a candidate desires to applyfor more than one post he/she should make a separate application with the separate requisitefee. The candidate should clearly note that the Vidyapeetha will not be responsible for non-receipt of application or any delay in receipt thereof on any account.

22. The candidates who have applied in response to this office notifications advt. no.RSV/Estt./T/2017 dated 22.11.2017 and advt. no. RSV/Estt./T/2018 dated 11.07.2018 neednot apply again and they are informed to submit the required additional informationof educational qualifications/experience/publications as per the UGC regulations,2018 on or before the prescribed last date.

23. Applications on plain paper or without the enclosures or incomplete applications will not beentertained.

24. Applications received after the due date and time shall summarily be rejected. Nocorrespondence will be entertained in this regard.
