*After obtaining his license in 1965, he worked under Carlos D. Arguelles & Associates as a staff, until Marcos declared Martial Law. This caused many of their clients to leave the country, pushing Orlina to shift to another artistic venue which eventually led to glass painting.*RGC (Republic Glass Corp.) offered Orlina a scholarship to study anywhere in order to further enhance his skill in this field, but Orlina rejected it.
