    From the Board!Hello Ramblers,

April is an exciting month for the Ramblers. Our April First Saturday dance is also our ann

membership meeting, the election of the new Rambler board and the graduation for both the Mainstream a

Plus classes! Our featured caller for the April First Saturday Dance is Aaron Wells, aka Iona Doublewi

Please come and support our new class graduates. If you have renewed your Rambler membership, we thank you for your continuous support. Y

membership due is very important to the club. With your generosity and hours of angeling, you all help

Ramblers achieved2 important goals this year: 1) retain existing members and 2) recruit new dancers.Your membership due enables the club to hire national callers for our First Saturday Dances.

understand our members want to dance and have fun square dancing. What better way to give back to

members through great dancing events! Our caller line up for the rest of the year includes Mike DeSi

Anne Uebelacker and Sandie Bryant. Our SNS fly-in featured callers are Mike Kellogg and Vic Ceder.

In addition to our great First Saturday Dance, the club will also have free club night every Wednesd

night in May and June. We'll be dancing at the Milwaukie Grange the entire months of May and June. It

great opportunity for us to have more dancing before the Convention in Atlanta. There will be m

information to come in the near future.I'm also very grateful to many angels who devoted many hours of 'angel time' for the mainstre

classes. Your dedication made it possible for the club to achieve our second goal: Recruit new dancers. T

year's graduation will be the biggest in a decade. There are 17 mainstream graduates and 7 plus graduat

Our graduation class is possibly one of the biggest classes among the IAGSDC clubs. The board sincer

thanks all of the angels and class caller Scott Zinser. You made it possible.

The Ramblers future is bright. I'm proud to be a Rambler and I hope you all be proud of

achievement this year. If you want to show your pride, participate in the Portland Pride Parade with

Rosetown Ramblers! Rosetown Ramblers will continue our tradition to have a float at the Pride Parade

year. This year the Pride Parade is on June 19 (Sunday), same day as Father's Day. We'll have m

information about the Pride event in the coming months.

    Happy Dancing!

A lovely spread greeted Ramblers as th

    arrived for Plus level dancing.

    We are fortunate to

    have another gay

square dance club soclose to us here in

Portland. Eugene ishome to the Spin Cycle

    Squares. Their club

    members often come to

our dances, and wetravel down for their

    dances. To honor this

    brotherhood/sisterhood

of dance clubs, theRambler has created:

    Spin Chain Thru

Eugene. This will be aregular section when

    Eugene has a dance.

Dixon made the trip down for some
