Schemes for improving sex ratio

(a) whether there has been any markedimprovement in the sex ratio after 2011 inthose States where the imbalance wasextremely serious and if so, the State-wisedetails thereof 2011 to 2018;

(b) new schemes introduced by theMinistry in general and for improving sexratio of population in particular after 2014,the details of their implementation, duringthe last four years, State-wise and year-wise; and

(c) whether any impact assessmentstudy was undertaken to gauge theoutcome of these schemes and if so, thedetails thereof, the overall assessment ofthese outcomes and whether Governmentis satisfied with the same?

Attack on whistleblowers and RTIactivists

(a) whether the Ministry is collectingdata about the cases of attack onWhistleblowers and RTI activists acrossthe country;

(b) if so, the number of such cases whereFIRs were registered, charge sheets werefiled, and trials were completed withconvictions or acquittals, year-wise andState-wise;

(c) the steps taken by the Ministry toprevent such attacks; and

(d) whether the Ministry is issuing anadvisory to provide better protection tothem?

Clarification on utilization ofNirbhaya Fund

(c) whether other States and Ministrieswere requested and reminded to send ininnovative proposal that can enhance thesecurity and safety of women, but nodetails have been received by the Ministry;and

Women grievance cell in educationalinstitutions

(a) whether it is a fact that severalCentral and State Government Institutions,particularly schools and colleges, do nothave Women Grievance Boxes/WomenGrievance Cells to report the sexualharassment though the existing Governmentguidelines prescribe for the same;

(b) if so, the details thereof in the lightof a report stating that India is mostdangerous country for women; and

(c) whether there is any mechanism inGovernment to check the availability ofthese cells in the educational institutions?
