IV enthralled the audience by their astounding performance.

Cunsolo who were in India under the

AFS exchange programme. Julia from

USA and Silvia from Italy had been the

part of RKK for past one year. RKKians

bid them farewell on 28th April 2016. A

short but memorable function was held

to be cherished by the duo who had

become an integral part of RKK.

workshop laid stress on Science Projects beneficial for human requirement. The students

were taught innovative methods and techniques which enhanced their creativity.

Monologue Competition was held for the students of Classes XI & XII at RKK. The characters

from Shakespeare’s play and Mahabharata reflected in the monologues. The students gave

spectacular performances. Deepika Singhal of Shri Shakti House in English along with Sakshi

Bhati of Shri Ambika House in Hindi, stood 1st and secured the ‘Best Speaker’ award.

The students of Classes IX & X displayed their wisdom in the Inter House Current Affairs

Quiz held on the 23rd of April 2016. The competition judged the participating students

intelligence & awareness through six different rounds. The Quizzers Tejasvi Doodi, Radhika

Bhandari, Srinjana Deb & Paridhi Chandak of Shri Bhawani House bagged the 1st position.

Class IX & X displayed artistic skills, creativity and innovative ideas to display the theme of

‘Leadership’ in each collage.

‘Sikkim Dharohar Fest’ was held at Scindia

Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior from 19th to 24th

April 2016. RKK was represented by 15

participants who achieved stupendous feat

by securing 1st position in 9 out of 11 events.

The proud RKKians won a cash prize of one

lakh along with the ‘Sikkim Darohar Fest’

2016, trophy.

MUN was held at Mayo College Girls’ School,

Ajmer from 14th to 17th of April 2016. RKK

was represented by seven delegates who

attended the fifth session of MUN. All the

delegates had a very enriching experience.

The Daly College Invitational P.G. Miller Quiz, DF Jack Memorial English Debate and the J.K.

Kate Memorial Hindi Debate Competitions were held from 14th to 16th April 2016 at

Indore. Team RKK qualified for the finals in Hindi Debate and the Quiz team qualified for

Shakespeare. The British Council had organized an

Inter School Quiz Competition at New Delhi in

honour of the great laureate.RKK was represented

participated with other 49 renowned schools of the

country.

was held at Rudraprayag from the 24th of March to 4th April 2016. RKK was represented by a

six member team who helped in rebuilding the school washed away in the flood.

‘Career Counselling’on the 25th of April 2016

for Class XII students. The Keynote Speaker,

Surgeon spoke about eye health and eye

diseases on the 22nd of April 2016 at RKK. He

educated the students about the relevance

A twelve member sports squad of RKK participated in the IPSC Tennis Tournament held at

Daly College, Indore from 23rd to 27thApril 2016. Eleven teams participated in the

tournament and the team members of Rajmata endeavoured to secure 4th position.
