Artist Info Concert – July 2, 2016

Pastor Anil Kant comes from a Hindu-Punjabi family. His parents, being very devout and religious, taught him Hindu scriptures from a young age. Music was an integral part of his life. In spite of the regular spiritual guidance from his parents, Pastor Anil Kant still knew that something was amiss and from a young age, had a quest for a close relationship with the true God. MUSICAL JOURNEY Pastor Kant started writing, composing and singing at the early age of twelve. He took it as a profession at the age of eighteen, while in University. It was during this time that he met his wife, Reena, who was also musically inclined. After their marriage, they shifted to Singapore, where they resided from 1986 – 1990. He continued to pursue an onstage career that put him on a fast track to fame and prosperity through giving performances and traveling frequently all over the world. In 1990, his family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia to continue the musical journey which was giving Pastor Kant recognition, prosperity and greater achievements. But at the same time, his heart continued to search for the truth as he had been longing for a deep and enduring relationship with the true God. CHANGED LIFE Some close friends invited him to train their church choir in Indian music. During these training sessions, the love of Jesus was shared with him. They prayed consistently for him and his family. It opened up his heart slowly and he began to read the Bible. And the truth set him free from all bondages and rituals. In the year 1999, Pastor Anil Kant returned to India along with his family. During this period of settling down in Mumbai, he encountered Jesus which marked the beginning of a changed heart and a new life. Pastor Anil Kant has two children, Shreya and Rishabh, who have given their lives to the Lord and together, they are serving God as a family. Pastor Anil Kant was ordained as a Pastor in the year 2007. Pastor Anil Kant desires to spread the gospel to all nations and see the world touched for Jesus through their music and the various television programs they produce. We wish them God’s blessings.

Message of Raja Raja, King of kings, Lord of lords & God of gods “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” Zechariah 9:9 KJV The “King of kings” has stepped down to be a “Servant of servants” to lift us up to reign victoriously. We can likewise step down from our “thrones” to lift Him up and lift each other in the following ways: “These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.” Zechariah 8:16-17 KJV We need “More love and More power” or in Telugu, “Nee Prema, Nee Shakti” from the King of kings, Lord of lords and God of gods to lift up His Name and each other.
