Customers can donate to Cookie Share on the order form and online. $4 per package paid at time of order. Over 18,800 packages of cookies were donated to military personnel overseas and in WNY last year. (The Cookie Share patch is available at GSWNY stores for $1 each.) Attend your troop cookie meeting to help out the group cookie coordinator when another adult is needed. Offer to be a supervising Booth Sale adult—there are lots of opportunities to lend a hand. Never do things for your Girl Scout that she can do for herself! Cookie Booths: Girl-operated direct sale opportunities throughout the community where customers purchase cookies from the troop. Girls customize and send e-cards to friends and family. Friends and family place orders online with a credit card and their order is shipped directly to them. Customers receive an automated thank you card when an order is placed. To get started, watch for a registration e-mail from "[email protected] with the subject line "Register for ABC Smart Cookies" to enroll in the program! I will not give out information such as my address, telephone number(s), parent's or guardians' work address/telephone number, or the name and location of my school without the permission of my parent or guardian. I will tell an adult right away if I come across or receive any information that makes me feel uncomfortable. I will always follow the rules of Internet sites, including those rules based on age of use, parental approval and knowledge, and public laws. I will never agree to get together with someone I "meet" online without first checking with my parents or guardians. If my parents or guardian agree to a meeting, I will arrange it in a public place and bring a parent or guardian along. I will never send a person my picture or anything else without first checking with my parent or guardian. I will talk with my parent or guardian so we can set up rules for going online. We will decide on the time of day that I can be online, the length of time that I can be online, and appropriate areas for me to visit. I will not access other areas or break these rules without their permission. I will follow all of the Girl Scout Terms and Conditions related to Digital Cookie, as well as all internet safety guidelines related to all other Girl Scout product sales. I will practice online etiquette (good manners) at all times when online by not spamming others, bullying or tolerating bullying (and will always tell a trusted adult if this is a problem)or use bad language. I will be guided by the Girl Scout Promise and Law in all that I do online. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Texts, Im's and e-mails as online marketing tools to let family, friends, and former customers know about the sale. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, children under 13 cannot create accounts without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. However they can use their parent or guardian’s online sites with their approval and supervision. Girls may use to find cookies now! Product Program Sales are never to be promoted on public sales pages. If someone asks where they can find a Girl Scout to buy cookies, it is NEVER ok to give out girl or personal information. Provide the location of your troop’s cookie booth. Cookies cannot be sold on eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace or any other public online sales site. Orders cannot be accepted before online start date.
