Dear Sir,

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of

Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)

Offers are invited in sealed envelope for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of

Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) at our Regional Office, Thiruvananthapuram as per theterms and conditions and technical specifications given in Annexures I and II enclosed.

2. The format for furnishing the Vendor details and the format for submission of Price

Bids containing the schedule of quantities are given in Annexures III and IV enclosed.

3. Offers are also invited for buy-back of two nos. old UPS with used batteries on as is

where is basis, as per specifications given in Annexure IV.

4. The offer, in a sealed single envelope, superscribed Offer for supply, installation,

testing and commissioning of UPS addressed to Shri Bhawar Puri, Chief General Manager,

NABARD, Kerala Regional Office, Punnen Road, Statue, Thiruvananthapuram 695 039should reach this Office not later than 15.00 hours on 25 February 2009.

5. The sealed envelope shall not contain any conditions whatsoever, failing which the

offer shall liable to be rejected.

6. The sealed envelope shall be opened at 16.00 hours on 25 February 2009 in the

presence of NABARD officials and representatives of bidders, who choose to be present.

7. The sealed envelope shall contain :

a) Tender document with schedule of quantities and technical data duly filled up and

signed by the offerer.

b) Earnest Money Deposit of Rs.9000/- (Rupees nine thousand only) by way of

Demand Draft from Nationalised Bank/ Scheduled Bank in favour of National Bank

for Agriculture and Rural Development and payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

c) A list of clients and also similair works undertaken in the recent past may be

furnished.

Offer received without Earnest Money Deposit is liable for rejection. The envelope shall be

superscribed EMD enclosed.

8. The offer shall remain open for acceptance by the Bank for a period of 90 days from

the date of opening, which may be extended by mutual agreement, and the offerer shall not

cancel or withdraw the offer during this period

9. The successful offerer shall ensure complete installation of the UPS within three

weeks from the date of issue of order.

10. All documents that comprise the offer should be signed and duly stamped by the

offerer.

11. NABARD reserves the right to accept /reject the offer either in part or in whole

without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
