Justin Laverdiere Memorial Golf Tournament
Filling Up Fast, Call Blake Today. The 14th Annual Justin Laverdiere Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 24, 2016, at Chemawa Golf Course in North Attleboro, MA. All proceeds from the event are designat-ed for the Tomorrow Fund. Justin, son of Blake Laverdiere D913, was 14 when he passed away of cancer in 2003. The tournament will be sponsored by the ECSA and has risen over $160,000 to cover expenses for the families of children being treated for cancer over the past 13 years. If you would like to sign up to golf, or make a tax deductible dona-tion, please contact Blake in D913 for more infor-mation and registration forms. The tournament fills up quickly and there is often a waiting list. Blake can be reached at 2-2566 or 401-218-8259.
QP Golf Tournament Reminder
The Electric Boat Quonset Point Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 25th at Richmond
Country Club. A scramble format shotgun start is scheduled for 7:30 am with a banquet following.
In an effort to ensure a smoothly run tournament while also following course rules, all foursomes are
reminded:
ensure their groups are still intact and to notify Richard Shaw(D957), 2-2483 of any personnel
changes as soon as possible
on the day of tournament, registration will begin 1 hour prior to starting time
beverage coolers are prohibited
Save The Date For the QP Classic - 9/16
Due to paving issues and construction we will be moving the classic to September 16th, a Friday.
Same idea as always. If you think your ride is a classic sign up with your name, department number
and the make/ model and year of your car or motorcycle. We will once again be getting box lunches
for all the owners. This year we will plan on being in the Employment Office Parking Lot. Reminders
will start later this Summer. Let’s make it the best one ever.

Know Your Numbers will be arranged by request in the
month of June. The It All Counts portion of the Employee
Incentive Program is at risk and $50 of individual incentive
money is at risk for each individual that has not completed
an It All Counts eligible activity in the first half of 2016.

1. Send an email to the EBAC office
(EBAC/EB/GDYN), requesting what
you would like. Please include your
badge number, Department and Mail
Stop.
2. The EBAC office will send an
email back to you, telling you the
total cost of your purchase.
3. You then send payment immedi-
ately with the Check made out to the
EBAC and sent via Inter-office mail
immediately to the EBAC office at
J78-1. The items will be sent back to
you via Inter-office mail or arrange-
ments made with the EBAC Office.

How to Use the Job Application System for Electric Boat
Effective 12/6/13, Electric Boat launched a job application system. If you have not applied for an
opening since then, you will need to set up a new profile in the system.
To access the system, enter your badge number preceded by the letter “E” (i.e. E012345). If this is
your first time logging on to the system, click on the “Reset my Password” link. An email will be
sent to your gdeb.com email address, or the email address that you have on file with Personnel
Services. If you do not have a gdeb.com email address and did not provide an email address to
Personnel Services, call the Employment Office at 401-268-2400 during regular business hours of
7-4.
There are also kiosks available in the Employment Office for access to and assistant with the new
job application system. All questions should be directed to the Employment Office at 401-268-
2400, Daniel Botelho 401-268-2783.
Please be reminded that all salaried exempt positions require a résumé in order to be con-
sidered. If you need assistance, please contact the Employment Office at 2-2400.

Connector Product Structure Change – D957
Problem Statement: D903’s work order to manufacture 30 cable assemblies requires D903 to cut each cable to a specified length and build a connector at each end. The 30 connectorized cables are provided to D915 Bay 3 for final install and hook-up. D915 noticed that at time of hook-up some of the cables are too short or some have too much slack caus-ing D915 to scrap and re-build the connectors.
Thanks to D957 Team Member: Eric Glittone
Solution: To eliminate the chance that the cables are not the correct length for proper hook-up, the 30 connectors on the 903 order should be moved to the hook up orders in D915. This will allow D915 to cut and build the connectors to workable length to ensure proper hook up to electrical components on hull. Employee Recognition:
