Items Included OPERATOR’S MANUAL Grass Catcher Bag Side Discharge Deflector SAE30W Oil FreshStart™ Fuel Preserver Cartridge Operator’s Manual Unpack the Mower 1. Remove everything from carton except for mower. 2. Open carton completely by cutting each corner from top to bottom. 3. Remove the clear plastic sheet from the top of the engine. 1. Remove the knob, lock washer, and bolt from each side of the handle base. 2. Loosen, but do not remove, the knobs on the handle. 3. Lift the handle to the operating position, and tighten the upper knobs. 4. Reinsert the lower handle bolts through the handle base and handle. (Most users prefer the middle position). 5. Install the lock washers and knobs. Tighten by hand. 1. Hold the engine stop lever against the handle and pull the recoil rope handle out to the rope guide on the handle. 2. Hook the recoil rope into the rope guide (it may be a tight fit). 1. Move the mower outside to a flat, level surface. 2. Remove the oil fill cap. Add the entire contents of the supplied oil container into the engine. Replace the oil fill cap. 3. Remove the fuel fill cap. Following the three-step instructions on the Fresh Start™ card, snap the fuel preserver cartridge into the bottom of the fuel fill cap. 4. Add clean, fresh UNLEADED fuel with a minimum of 87 octane, leaving one inch of space from the top of the tank for fuel expansion. 5. Replace the fuel fill cap and wipe up any spills. Read the Operator’s Manual for operating, maintenance, and safety instructions. Unpack the Mower 1. Remove everything from carton except for mower. 2. Open carton completely by cutting each corner from

top to bottom. 3. Remove the clear plastic sheet from the top of the

engine.

1. Remove the knob, lock washer, and bolt from each side of the handle base.

2. Loosen, but do not remove, the knobs on the handle.

3. Lift the handle to the operating position, and tighten the upper knobs.

4. Reinsert the lower handle bolts through the handle base and handle. (Most users prefer the middle position).

5. Install the lock washers and knobs. Tighten by hand.

1. Hold the engine stop lever against the handle and pull the recoil rope handle out to the rope guide on the handle.

2. Hook the recoil rope into the rope guide (it may be a tight fit).

1. Move the mower outside to a flat, level surface. 2. Remove the oil fill cap. Add the entire contents of

the supplied oil container into the engine. Replace the oil fill cap.

3.Removethefuelfillcap.Followingthethree-stepinstructions on the Fresh Start™ card, snap the fuel preserver cartridge into the bottom of the fuel fill cap.

Cómo desempacar el cortacéspedes 1. Saque todo el contenido de la caja de cartón, a excepción

delacortacéspedes. 2. Abra completamente la caja de cartón cortando cada una

de sus esquinas de arriba abajo. 3.Retirelahojadeplásticotransparentedelapartesuperior

del motor.

1. Quite la perilla, la arandela de seguridad y el perno de ambos lados de las base del asidero.

2. Afloje pero no quite las perillas del asidero. 3. Alce el asidero hacia su posición de operación y apriete

las perillas superiores. 4.Vuelvaainsertarlospernosinferioresdelasideroatravés

de la base del asidero y el asidero en sí (casi todos los usuarios prefieren la posición intermedia).

5. Instale la arandela de seguridad y apriete bien las perillas.

1. Oprima y mantenga oprimido el palanca de parada del motor contra el asidero de conducción, y hale hacia afuera el mango del cable de arranque hasta la guis de cable en el asidero.

2. Enganche el cable de arranque dentro de la guia de cable (esta guia podria tener un ajuste apretado).

2. Quie la tapa de lienado de aceite. Agregue al motor todo el contenido del recipiente de aceite suministrado. Coloque nuevamente la tapa de llenado de aceite.

4.AñadagasolinaSINPLOMOlimpiayfrescaquetengaunoctanaje minimo de 87, dejando unos 2.5 cm de espacio hasta la parte superior del tanque que permita la expan-sión del combustible.
