can see that my audience was split 50/50 for male and female which shows that no gender is dominant therefore I will not have to make my trailer specifically favoured to one gender.

gathered from the survey I can see that my target audience is in he 18-24 age range with one anomalous result being 75 or older, due to the age range being dominantly 18-24 I will ignore the 75 or older result.

What do you like about the action film genre?

O From the survey I can see that the audience like the fast paced feature of action films the most as well as the explosions and props. The comments shows that car chases are popular and attractive people also are popular.

What do you expect to see in an action film trailer?

O From the research my target audience expect to see fast pace editing techniques used. They also like to see explosions in the trailer and fast paced chase sequences. A good build up is expected in the trailer to make the trailer more appealing.

What makes an action film trailer appealing to you? O Similarly to the

previous question the fast paced editing techniques and car chases are appealing to the audience. The use of props such as guns also were appealing to the audience.

What storylines do you like in action films?

O The survey showed that there wasn’t a specific type of action film storyline that was preferred but instead a variety of different storylines that were appealing.

O Based on these answers it doesn’t help me find out what is the favoured storyline by the audience but however it gives me more options to choose from.

What are your favourite action films?

O The research showed that the favoured films were James Bond and Non Stop, this helps me have an idea of what sort of trailer to produce that being espionage.
