Would a free gift persuade you to buy a magazine?

As the majority of people who took my questionnaire decided that they would feel more inclined to purchase a magazine if it included a free gift, this made me think about the possibility of including a free track or CD with the magazine, similar to how ATM magazine regularly include a free CD consisting of tracks by the featured artist. This promotes the artist, and attracts potential readers/buyers.

What are a few of your favourite artists? I asked a mix of qualitative and quantitative

questions to gain a better idea of what my target audience would be more interested in, when choosing a music magazine to buy. These are some of the answers I got for “what are a few of your favourite artists?”

The Smiths, Kanye West, Ellie Golding, Jamiroquai, MGMT, Bass Hunter, Hadouken!, Pendulum, Reverend and the Makers and Calvin Harris.

What would you like to see in a magazine that you feel may not have been done before?
