These result show us that the most popular music style across all generations. Shows us that it is a popular genre.

These results show that people have heard of the genre and they liked it.

We have found that the people we asked have many different hobbies so basing our band around a popular hobby would not be

sensible.

Question 4What music channel do you watch?

These results show us that the most popular music channels are 4 Music and MTV. But are Research shows that the best channel for the music genre of alternative rock would be Kerrang or Mojo.

Question 5 What Radio Station do you listen to?

This yet again shows me what radio station is the most popular. It also goes against what type of radio station would best for my radio.

Question 6 Do you expect to see a alternative rock band on the front of their album?

These questions result shows that people do not expect to a alternative rock band on the front of their album. This supports what we have already found.

This graph shows that people begin to have an interest in music around the age of 11.

Question 8 do you read magazines such as Nme and mojo ?

This graph shows me that people that like the alternative rock genre don’t really like the magazines that would follow this genre. The two people that read the magazine both scored alternative rock highly. This means that they could enjoy the genre more than others and

means that they buy the magazine.

These results further show that our audience do not read music magazines, this tells us that we should not advertise our band highly in magazines.
