I think that the results have shown a clear path for me to follow as the vast majority of the answers chose a band on the cover. I think that this is also because bands are associated with rock as a genre. I asked this question so I would know how many people to photograph when creating my magazine.

I think the colours that were chosen would be effective because they seem similar to magazines today, and that I have previously spoke about when analysing colours. I think that red, black and white will be the most successful colours so I’m glad this corresponds with the audiences opinion also. I asked this question to figure out whether the audiences opinion corresponded with my own.

What type of articles would you like to read?

This is a factor that is important as it is based on the audiences opinion entirely. Because the majority preferred interviews this means that will be the most successful article. I asked this because I can decide what type of article to write so my audience will be interested.

The majority of these results state that the audience

would prefer a more visual magazine with more

pictures. This may reflect that it is targeted at a

younger audience, as well as this it shows they are not interested in a long winded essay of information. This is

a factor I will take in to consideration when I am

creating my magazine. This was a question I asked to

reveal some of my audiences interests.

QUESTION 6

This question was one that had varied answers as the people answering the questions could choose their own

answer. The most popular answer was to receive a music voucher, I think that this is a really unusual and clever

answer that I perhaps wouldn’t have thought of. I think this is a really good idea for a present on the music magazine,

as it doesn’t focus the audience in a particular place. Furthermore it is associated with the genre which is

effective. I asked this question as I was myself intrigued in the answer.

QUESTION 7

There is no huge difference in the amounts that people gave so I don’t think this

will be a huge matter. The price I would base at about £3 because it was the price with the most votes. I asked this question as it is one of the codes and conventions of magazines so I may as well apply these codes in

junction with my audiences preferences.
