media product and why?

Publishing Houses

• My magazine could potentially be owned by IPC Media or possibly Bauer Media because they own magazines of a similar genre to mine.

• Examples: NME is owned by IPC.Kerrang! Is owned by Bauer.

Distribution

• My magazine will be most likely sold in a newsagent, book store like WH Smith or entertainment stores.

• They would be available for purchase online via subscription on the website or each issue via online stores such as Amazon.

• They can also check the website and social networks for the latest news which will be also included in the magazine.

Publication

• A new issue of my magazine will be released every month. I have many pages in my magazine so it is suitable for the release gap

• Mojo is now the biggest rock music magazine in the UK. Its circulation stands at 79,345, down 6.8 per cent year on year.

• The second best performing title in terms of year-on-year change was Kerrang, which now has a circulation of 37,603 – down 6.5 per cent year on year.
