The Park is a sensational destination for organisers and audiences of events of all types and scales. Since opening the north of the Park in 2013 and the south of the Park in 2014, we’ve hosted music festivals, concerts, sporting events, charity challenges, corporate away days, community celebrations, markets and more.
With its excellent transport connections and prime location in the heart of a vibrant and growing community, the Park is an easily accessible space in a thriving part of east London. The Park boasts a selection of spectacular outdoor licensed locations and a stunning backdrop of iconic venues and London landmarks.

A wide open green space on the banks of the River Lea is home to our two northern event lawns, framed by the Copper Box Arena, Here East, and Lee Valley VeloPark. Hopkins’ Field is large and flat – perfect for concerts, runs and event villages. At the edges it tapers into species-rich meadow, landscaped banks, and a small paddlesports hub. Alfred’s Meadow is a natural amphitheatre in a secluded, tranquil settling. With a backdrop of the river, wetlands and waterglades, Olympic Rings, iconic venues, and a sunset behind the London skyline, the north of the Park really is the Great Outdoors.

The south of the Park: iconic outdoor event locationsVINCI Stadium, operator of a network of venues including the Stade de France, has been appointed to manage the former Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the photogenic South Park Lawn and Stratford Waterfront. The backdrop of the Stadium and London Aquatics Centre and proximity to Stratford stations make these the ideal venue for musical, mass participation and corporate events.

Mandeville Place and beyondAt the heart of the Park, next to the Stadium, with an elevated view across the entire Park and London skyline, Mandeville Place is a vast thoroughfare, with interesting planting and bags of room. It looks over Carpenters Lock, an amphitheatre straddling old lock where the park’s three waterways.

Filming and photography
The Park is a sensational backdrop, with all manner of
locations available, including the iconic former Olympic and
Paralympic venues (interior and exterior), waterways, open
parkland, kids play areas, ornamental gardens in various styles,
wetlands, derelict spaces, highways, and a multi-storey car park.

All filming and photographic enquiries will be dealt with
on an individual basis and require at least 10 working days
notice. While we will endeavour to accommodate as many
requests as possible, approval of filming and photography
enquiries is subject to the Park’s existing events schedule.

ArcelorMittal Orbit and the Podium (for 50 to 250 people).
A creative collaboration between artist Sir Anish Kapoor and Cecil
Balmond the ArcelorMittal Orbit is the tallest sculpture in the UK
and an intriguing new landmark on the London skyline. At 114.5m
tall, it is both a work of art and a thrilling public experience making
it the perfect venue for a wide range of corporate and social events
within its two viewing platforms. The Podium is situated at the foot
of the ArcelorMittal Orbit and has a ground floor and upper tier
hospitality spaces with viewing terraces offering unparalleled views

Copper Box Arena (for 20 to 7,500 people). One of London’s
most flexible indoor venues, with a central auditorium including
retractable seating, allowing for a wide range of different sports,
concerts, conferences and exhibitions. Also includes provision

Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre (for 20 to 1,500 people).
The centre boasts indoor facilities for a wide range of occasions.

Lee Valley VeloPark (for 20 to 6,700 people). Lee Valley VeloPark
is the first place in the world where you can enjoy Track cycling,
road racing, BMX or mountain biking, in one place. The venue
is also ideal for a wide range of social and business occasions

London Aquatics Centre (for 20 to 2,500 people). Designed by
architect Zaha Hadid, this venue provided the breathtaking
backdrop to countless world records and Ellie Simmonds’ dramatic
swim into the history books. The venue also accommodates the
London Aquatics Centre Events space which offers a truly unique
space overlooking the competition and diving pools which is

Stadium (10 to 60,000 people). From 2016 the Stadium becomes
the new home of West Ham United FC, as well as a major live
music venue. It will be open all year round for visitor tours, arts

into the natural landscape and produce its own green energy from
