WELCOME TO OUR NEW BRAZEAU COUNTY BUSINESS!

Featured above is Kara Westerlund pre-

senting a plaque on behalf of Brazeau

County to Jenny Kaminecki, of Surrounded

by Soul, welcoming the new business to

the County.

Surrounded by Soul is a new Brazeau County

Home Based Business located in Rocky Rapids.

Jenny Kaminecki, Founder and the Owner, is a

massage therapist specializing in Raynor and

Reiki massage. Jenny was fascinated by the

Brandon Raynor method as she explained; “It

incorporates the wisdom of many different

massage techniques benefiting our bodies in

more than one way”.

She is dedicated to her clients and believes

that through this particular deep tissue mas-

sage technique she is able to release the ten-

sion and have the energy flowing freely

through your body.

Jenny explains that “What we focus on are the

energy meridians in our body, and how they

hold tension. Our job is to relieve this tension

to prevent dis-ease. This style of massage has

me " tap into" the client, and use my intuition

and techniques to relieve said tension.

Often, as I am working on a client, I will see the Chakra Colours. This

guides me to the specific area of the body, and allows me to work-

ing in a particular area, clearing out congestion, stagnant energy or

relieving tension. Also, reflexology is a huge part. Seeing where ten-

sion is being held in both the hands and feet allow for me to have

an idea of where the tension in the body will be.”

To book an appointment with Jenny or to find out more about the

benefits of Raynor massage therapy,

Have you ever dreamed about flying around on your own personal jetpack? How about flying around on your own personal jetpack and getting PAID to do it? Well guess what? With Alberta Flyboard® Inc., dreams can come true! This year we will be interviewing potential businesses, new and existing, that want to become part of the Flyboard® Family and start renting the Flyboard® at different loca-tions across Alberta. If you’re interested, please visit www.albertaflyboard.com and call Evelyna Jambrosic, Economic Development Coordinator with Brazeau County at (780) 542-77-77 for more details on the opportunity in Brazeau.

The Flyboard focuses on the end-user and their individual sporting pursuits: The three fastest-growing sports – surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding – are all board sports. Through the invention of the Flyboard and its patented water pro-pulsion technology, Zapata Racing has pioneered the creation of the ultimate cross-platform board sport of “flyboarding.” Flyboarding is a sport that appeals to all board sport participants along with other Xtreme sport enthusiasts.

The Flyboard business generally runs from Mid May till Mid Sept. In just 4 short months per year you can run a profitable business while spending your summer at the lake and having the time of your life! Unlike most businesses in Alberta, staff is easy to attract and maintain based on the excitement of the flyboard and the atmosphere that is created around the sport.

The cost to get into the business can vary depending on if you buy new or used equipment, as well as the location that you choose to operate out of. If you are close to major center, the cost would be higher then something a little further from town or more secluded generally. You can anticipate approx $25,000 to $50,000 would be your start up costs including all your fees and equipment, and with a good business and marketing plan you can pay that back and turn profits in your very first 4 month season!
