As another summer begins, we all eagerly look forward tocreating more memories on the water with friends and family. We aretruly blessed to live in paradise and have a loyal family of customers andteam members that have allowed us to prosper for 41 years in theTampa Bay area.

As we look in the rear view mirror at 2014, we are proud toannounce that we were recognized for the 7th year in a row as a Top100 Dealer in North America by The Boating Industry magazine. Morespecifically, we were ranked #12; a spot we are proud to holdconsidering the size of our dealership and team versus the multi-statemega-dealers that exist in North America.

We were also ranked in the top 10 in worldwide sales for Grady-White, Pursuit and Regal, achieving a #1ranking from Regal for Dealer CSI among their worldwide family of dealers. This year also saw theopening of our Sarasota location that focuses on representing the Pursuit brand in both the Sarasota andManatee Counties.

We thank you, our customers, to allow us to continue to build relationships and sustain the success andgrowth our parents started in 1974.  With their love and guidance we have enjoyed a 42% rate of repeatcustomers purchasing new boats and 92% rate of repeat customers in our service and repair location.

We are in the process of re-designing our website and expanding our team with the addition of aMarketing & Public Relations Manager, Lauryn Howell. She will be adding more customer events than everto our schedule so please be on the lookout for announcements. This April we celebrated our 1-year anniversaryof our Sarasota sales location. For those notfamiliar with the location, it is based at 7006South Tamiami Trail in the heart of Sarasota anddisplays a full line of new Pursuits from the DC235 all the way to the OS 385. The teammembers that staff the location include JoeMammina and Woody Brewer.

Our memberships with the Manatee, Sarasotaand Longboat Key Chambers of Commerce arepart of our efforts to increase our involvement inthese local communities. As part of these effortswe held a ribbon cutting ceremony attended bynearly 100 people in 2014.

This year we hosted an in-water 2-daydemonstration event held at the Sarasota Hyattthat featured the full line of Pursuits. The eventwas staffed by team members from both saleslocations as well as a factory representativefrom Pursuit. You can also find the Sarasotalocation at the annual the Sarasota Boat Showwhere many of our Pursuit models will befeatured in an in-water display.

Being a family owned business we take agreat deal of pride in the relationships we formwith our customers. The most rewarding part ofall, however, is the transition from customer re-lationship to lasting friendship. While we appre-ciate the loyalty of each and every customer,some have shown us a gratitude over the yearsthat we can never repay. Ken and Kathi Styplefit that mold.

They bought their first boat from us in2009, a 2008 335 OS Pursuit. When asked whyPursuit, Ken responded, “Having been involvedin boating for forty years, I have come to appre-ciate the value of a well-made craft and the rep-utation of the company that proudly standsbehind its product.” This opinion was reflected inhis decision to purchase two more Pursuit mod-els, a 2013 OS 345 and most recently a 2015OS 385.

It’s no secret that the West Coast of Flori-da is home to numerous boat dealerships, manylocated in and around the Tampa Bay area, sowe had to ask Ken and Kathi, why QualityBoats? According to Ken it was our stance as “alocal, long-standing family business” that drewhim to dealership initially. He went on to high-light both the professionalism and knowledge ofthe sales staff and how refreshing it was to betreated with courtesy no matter what his inquiryor needs were.

At Quality Boats we pride ourselves onthe dedication of each member of our salesteam and we are extremely grateful that this wasreflected in the Styple’s experience.
