In-house Mold MakingThe Corning engineering team has tremendous expertise in designing and creating molds that produce consistent, high quality products. Corning manufactures all of our molds, which maximizes manufacturing up-time and reliable, high quality products.

Automation equipment manufacturers are experts at designing and building complex liquid handling systems. However, consumables are a small part of their overall business. In fact, many of these manufacturers outsource the production of automation tips to other companies. Axygen® automation tips are high quality alternatives to more expensive tips sold by automation equipment manufacturers. Advanced ManufacturingAll Axygen® automation tips are RNase-/DNase-free and non pyrogenic. In addition, our manufacturing processes include automated assembly and electronic monitoring equipment to minimize the risk of contamination and bent tips, as well as deionizing manufacturing technology to reduce static.

Certificates of Compliance To aid in quality control and traceability, Certificates of Compliance are specific to each manufacturing lot.

In-house TestingOur in-house automation lab validates product on the same equipment for which the tips are designed. You can have confidence that Axygen automation tips will work reliably and predictably with your automation equipment.

Customer Validation In addition to our in-house testing, products are validated at customer locations to ensure proper function. It is this attention to detail in manufacturing and testing that ensures Axygen automation tips provide accurate pipetting and precise experimental results.

Quality CertificationsAxygen products are manufactured in facilities that are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified with sealed, positive pressure, clean areas. Resins are USP Class IV or V compliant, and RoHS compliant per the European Directive 2002/95/EC.

Corning also assures that products are REACH compliant per EC 1906/2006. Heavy metals are not used in the manu fac ture or formulation of these products. The products meet CONEG requirements for lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium.
