FROM STUDENT EXCHANGE AND RESEARCH COLLABORATION TO ESD “Sustainable development is a central concept for our age. It is both a way of understanding the world and a method for solving global problems” (Sachs, 2015 p. 2)

ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) looks atHow can teaching and learning be organized to promote the skills that students will need to contribute to sustainable development In an education for sustainable development it is important that the theory learners acquire is in proportion to the practice they experience (Sinnes, 2015). It needs to be context related.
