2006 – 2010• Exploring different quality approaches• Cooperation with SMART, CNVOS, Institute for

Standardization and metrology of BiH

We have started!

• 2009 - start of implementation of Pilot Phase by CSPC, supported by USAID and in cooperation with SIQ

• “Slovenian model” accepted – NGO Quality Standard 2008, based on the ISO 9001:2008 standard and some

foreign systems designed exclusively for NGOs

• 23 certified Internal Auditors of Quality Assurance Systems for NGOs 10 certified

• 10 certified Managers of QMS (Quality management System) in NGOs, and

• 10 certified QMS Leading Auditors in NGOs

• Experience and knowledge from study visit to Slovenia

Next steps

• Certification

• Promotion (CSOs, government, donors, businesses, general public)

• Spreading of the intiative to larger group of CSOs

• Cooperation with similar initiatives in the region
