Expectations regarding the PMP Exam Course1. This course is FULL of information
2. Students describe this course as being intense requiring a lot of dedication
during and AFTER the course
3. View this as a time to learn and learn more. When you are in class there will
not be time to glance at the PDA or check email. Very likely you will be
involved in one activity or another except during breaks.
4. There are 13 modules and 13 quizzes with homework
5. 200 question MOCK exam you must pass in order to get the 35 hour
certificate
6. The course is structured on the PMBOK Guide Fourth Edition (450+ pages
long)
7. There is a lot to take in during the course duration
Expectations regarding the PMP Exam Course8. Training will be jump-started with some pre-course study
9. It requires being in learning mode. Being a good project manager does not
necessarily mean that the PMBOK Guide Concepts will be easy to grasp at
first.
10. It is common that some participants will pass the PMP exam with ease while
some fall behind
11. There is a course Workbook and the PMBOK Guide Fourth Edition included
for study.
12. Taking the PMP Exam requires daily study. If you miss your study days you
will have to catch up with your colleagues
13. With dedicated studying students take the course 2 weeks after the class
and pass the exam. The classroom course has a 100% passing rate.
