TEACHING ROCKET is a teachers’ training seminar for the local church designed to educate, equip, and empower Bible class teachers of all ages. It
has been said, “As the Bible Class goes, so goes the church.” Whether it’s doctrinal instruction, every-day life skills, or interpersonal connection and fel-lowship, a vibrant education program is vital to a
vibrant church.
Thank you so much for the flowers and all the cards and especially all the prayers during my recent sur-gery. Your care and concern meant a great deal to me and my family and it was so appreciated. Jean Williams
We want to thank the church for the beautiful flowers you sent to my brother’s funeral (Kenneth Guinn) and thank the ones who came to visitation. Thank you to Bryan for coming down on Wednesday morning. We appreciated everything. Jackie & Ravinell Morris
The Three Admonitions of Hebrews 12:1-2
The first is “let us throw off everything that hin-
ders and the sin that so easily entangles.”
The second is “let us run with perseverance the
race marked out for us.”
The third is “let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the au-
thor and perfecter of our faith who for the joy set be-
fore him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat
down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
In order to be a pleasing and acceptable follower
of the Savior, we must endeavor to live by these three
admonitions. Will we be able to keep them perfectly?
Probably not but thankfully our Lord is a patient and
merciful Savior. He knows our weaknesses and He also
knows how sincerely we try. Don’t ever forget that we
are “justified freely by his grace” (Romans 3:24) and
that the Holy Spirit led the apostle Paul to write the
words of Jesus: “My grace is sufficient for you for my
power is made perfect in weakness.” (II Corinthians
12:9).
Don’t ever forget about grace!

VBS in your backyard was wonderful. What a great out-reach event was had in our community and the fruits of that have already been seen. I want to especially thank you for your service to the church during this time. Too many to name were phenomenal in executing the week-end. We have things to learn from it and ways to grow but great strides were made in reaching our community with the message of Christ. Thank you, Scott Wilson
