I am directed to refer to your letter no. 15018110/2015-Jus-Ille-Courts dated
25.09.2017 on the subject noted above and to forward herewith a Schedule regarding
installation of CCTV Cameras (with audio recording) inside the Courts and other important
locations in all the Subordinate Courts of Haryana State and Chandigarh and to inform you
that the aforesaid schedule had already been prepared and sent to Hon'ble Supreme Court
oflndia, vide this Court's letter no. 1761/spl dated 10.10.2017.

;P,-Qr Installation of CCTV Cameras (with audio recording) in pursuance of,.... order dated 14.08.2017 passed by the Hon 'ble Supreme Court.
In compliance with the directions issued by Hon'ble Supreme Court in
Judgement dated 28.03.2017, CCTV Cameras (without audio recording) in U.T.
Chandigarh has already been installed as pilot project on experimental basis and report
of such experiment was also sent.
Thereafter, vide Judgment dated 14.08.2017, the Apex Court has further
directed that the Union of India, Ministry of Information and Technology in
consultation with E-Committee of this Court to lay down technical specifications and
other modelities, including price range and sources of supply for installation of CCTV
Cameras in Courts. It has been directed that this work may be done within a period of
one month from the date of passing the Judgment and further to provide suchinformation to all the High Courts. '
Further, it has been desired that now CCTV Cameras be installed in all the
subordinate Courts in such a phased manner as may be considered appropriate by the
High Courts. Schedule for the purpose may be laid down within one month and
information in this regard is to be furnished to this Court within two months.
As per the directions, the draft schedule for installation of CCTV
Cameras in UT Chandigarh is as under:-
