The finished product GB0BSR 2007 was held this year on the 15/16th September. A new site was given which placed us further up the hill away from the noise of the engines etc.

This turned out to be a better site than the previous 9 years. Far better conditions and more space for wire antennas. 130 Mtrs of wire was placed from the top of the tower to an old Oak tree some 70 Mtrs away to the south and with the assistance of the SGC230 worked a dream on all bands.

Along with the clubs vertical, Shefford ARC’s A3S triband beam and a 20Mtr sloper, The first contact each morning was 3B7C. The weather couldn’t have been better. A few more operators would have helped?
