If a Fire Alarm sounds, please leave the building immediately. The Fire Alarm is a piercing sound and is different from the Computer Alarm
Use the nearest Emergency Exit, clearly marked
Assemble in University Road opposite Geog Main Building
There are signs around to the various rooms we will use
Toilets: for men at the end of the corridor leading off the Foyer past the PPPP offices (west corridor)
Toilets: for women at the end of the corridor (to the right of the back exit from the Foyer (go east)
The photocopier is at the end of the west corridor. Use keycode 65519
Only come in and go out (except in emergency) by the main door after 1800
If you exit via the backdoor after 1800, alarms will sound
Do not enter the lecture theatre after 1800 or alarms will sound
The keypad number for the main door is 3941
The keypad number for the GIS Lab is 7283 If you come back to the Building after
1800, please enter your name and other details in the sign in book just to the right as you enter
Please complete these forms, which are in your pack and give to Calum
They will be kept completely confidential but we need to know about your health in case of emergencies/illnesses
Urban walk (Saturday): the arrangements and the risks; bring water, wear good walking shoes
Rural walk (Sunday): › Bring lots of water (two smaller bottles or one
larger) › Bring a packed lunch (can be bought on Saturday
and stored in Ellerslie Hall Kitchen fridges)› Bring waterproofs in case in rain, sweater/jacket in
case it is cool, good walking shoes/boots› If you don’t feel up to a hill walk (with Paul Norman)
there will be a valley walk (with Phil Rees) but I hope we can all climb the hill!
Sign the form saying you have been informed of the risks
Inform me or Calum via fellow Summer School participant or via telephone
I will inform the University and the support procedures will be activated› Antiviral medication may be offered› You will be cared for in your room while
infectious› You can consult NHS Direct by telephone
Calum can provide these visitor cards for entry to the Libraries
Place the cards bar code face down in landscape orientation on entrance turnstiles

from anywhere
Phil will issue these to anyone who does not have one
They are valid until 10 July In the GIS lab ask for help if you get
