Approved syllabus Document the student learning objectives, content, and student
evaluation for review and approval by the Executive Faculty and provost’s office
Provide a mechanism to check for “course-“ and “content-drift” Present the course for review by accreditation agencies
Student syllabus Guide students in learning during the course Establish requirements for students so they can understand what they
need to do to perform at the level to obtain the outcomes, including grades, they intend and, at the conclusion of the course, did obtain
Set a scheduled date and time for classes and deliverables
